Hotel Capris Capodistria — Hotel in Upravna enota Koper / Unità amministrativa Capodistria

Having been recommended to stay here, I gave it a go. Everything was spotlessly clean, but a couple of important factors let it down for me.

1. Quality of bedding was not great. For a four star hotel, bedding quality should be higher standard cotton and crisp. After all, sleep quality matters the most in hotels!!

2. Location. Located 10 mins walk between the bus station and 10-15+ mins walk from the old beautiful historic centre of Koper. It’s surrounded by shopping malls and a petrol station at the end of the road. If you like watching cranes in the port in action, the view from the room is perfect!

3. Annoying touchscreen key code entry system. An unnecessary inconvenience when you just want to get into the room. No key card like most modern hotels.

Size of the room is nice and not cramped though. Bed was fine. Breakfast was good. Kept me going. Great coffee!

Although the hotel is clean, very new and modern and the staff are kind and helpful staff, I would rather stay in a hotel facing the sea, given the small spectacular coastline Slovenia is blessed with!!

Ok location, next to the train station. I recently stayed at Hotel Capris in Koper and had a great experience. While the location is not the most central, the hotel itself is very clean, with nice and spacious rooms. The rooms offer everything you would expect and need for a comfortable stay. The staff, both at the reception and in the dining area, are very friendly and helpful.

We had a bed-and-breakfast stay, and the buffet breakfast offered a good variety of food for a tasty and satisfying meal. A big plus is the free parking at the hotel, as well as the complimentary WiFi, which works very well.
