We stayed here for only 3 nights in Vola Nimfa, room 238, but even this was too much. It seems hotel gained 3* 30 years ago and no one changed anything & anywhere since then. Well except prices were unreasonably high, we paid 118€ per night for this dump! The furniture in the room is about 30 years old and also the carpet hasn’t been changed since then. Old TV has maybe 6 or 7 cable programs and you can be lucky if they are working. Mattresses still have iron springs inside so you might get blisters in-between your ribs during the night. When we wanted to dry our wet towels and bathing suits the only way was to put it on balcony fence which was completely rusty. So we didn’t have any other choice but to dry them with hair dryer on daily level. In bathroom shower door were falling apart so maintence is also missing. ||The only thing which was good was breakfast in hotel Histrion. But due to COVID-19 people were devided into three groups and receptionist told us only one time slot it is possible for us. So we didn’t have even choice when should we go to breakfast on our vacation. ||Deeply dissapointed on hotel, hotel management and owner Sava hotels and resorts! I highly advice not to go to Hotel Vile Park, you will find a lot of hotels better as this. As much as I do not like Croatia I must admit hotel owners have a lot to learn from Croatian turism. And if you do not mind going accross the border Croatian hotelirs will appreciate you, your money and satussfaction much more then Hotel Vile Park so it might be smart to think about it.||This was the biggest mistake and I am positive I won’t return to...
Read moreNot so "warm" service staff. Very "here you go and goodbye" vibe. You need to be educated in advance about where, how, pools and beaches locations and other included/not included amenities here. Meaning, you get to ask a lot of questions otherwise no assertivnes from the staff to introduce you. Rooms are clean, get cleaned daily but in my case after lunch (after 15) when usually most people rest a bit. Pools in Histrion are ok, but they close at 19. However staff starts closing umbrellas on the outer deck and folding sun beds at 18 (another example of staff warm welcome).Plus is that you can exit for a swim at the sea and then come back in the pool area. Breakfast is ok, standard. Dinner has its good and bad days. There are 2 timeslots for meals, and you need to decide when checking in which one you will be attending. Waiters are ok (kudos to Armand from Kosovo :), but younger staff does comment with no hesitation how guest linger even 15 minutes before closing time so that's a drag (aaah that warmth again). All in all...so so. Parking is available but it can get unavailable, and the one above the garage there you can get closed in with no way to exit due to cars parked in the middle. A week ago I was at one of the Life Class hotels in Portorož, they have a lot more guests but a lot more niceness and value for money ratio with the same challenges in enabling guests parking, timely meals, cleaning etc. So,...
Read moreWe stayed at Vile Park for our summer holiday at the sea, and we chose it as we had previously been there and all other options were more pricey.|The hotel is in a huge complex behind the 4star hotel histrion, with which you share the spa, swimming pool and restaurants.|The rooms are very outdated, every single socket was falling out of place, the balcony a bit mouldy as was the room. The bathroom at least was big, there was a big closet at the entry, but from the lobby it took us some time to walk to our room, which was on the most distant building on the second floor.|Breakfast was OK, I recalled it better last time but overall there is a wide choice of food and you will find something to your taste. The lady checking you before entering breakfast though was very unfriendly and never smiled, not a great ad for your hotel...|The guy at the lobby was very friendly and spoke many languages, he initially gave us a room which was changed by a girl who took him over...and who was not as nice.|We rather stayed in Piran for swimming and never used the private beach.|Overall, the price is way too high and the complex needs badly refurbishment. Everything is quite expensive though in Piran, so this can be a choice if you do not or cannot...
