Unfortunately we cannot share the good reviews that instigated us to visit this restaurant. The best part of it is the sea view while sundown… 1 Liter Malvacja for 22 € is high priced and we got two units of half liter carafes (?). Mussles were ok, the sauce very thick and not very tasty. Negative highlight was the squid platter allegedly for 2 persons for a very ambitious price of 49 €: The menu says it comes with supplements - the supplment was a whole bunch of french fries, actually very untypical for the slovenian kitchen, they told us they ran out of chard and so could not serve chard potatoes (very poor!) Squid was 4 small pieces stuffed (no taste to it), 4 pieces grilled and a little portion of fried units per person. The sauces served with it poor tasting industrial products. We left hungry because we did not want to finish the fries. Our complaints were noticed by the service staff - no excuse, no compensation, no nothing but a bill of 86 €. Consequently:...

Beautiful view for sunset and right on the water. However, had very mixed experience with the food and service. Mussels and scallops were good. Fried calamari was too salted, too breaded and not very tender - these were the least good calamari we've had across Piran. The grilled octopus had good flavor but could have been more tender. In terms of service, the restaurant could improve on transparency. Despite ordering a glass of wine, we were charged for double quantity and told later after receiving the bill that while the menu shows a price for .1L serving, the house wine is always served as .2L. This is the first of 30+ restaurants in Slovenia from which we ordered a glass of wine to give and charge a different amount than what the menu states. At first we didnt even consider sitting down in this restaurant but the waiters were standing by the rode and inviting you in. It quickly became the go to place for us. The food was sooo good. Id even go as far as saying the best seafood we’ve ever had. the ingredients were really fresh and tasty. The waiters are really nice and after working long long hours they are still really helpful and never fail to put on a smile on and they put one on yours too. We were in Piran for 7days and ate dinner there 4days and one lunch as well. Never ever disappointed us and if we visit again we are going here 1000%. The always tried to seat us at a really good table.And always did. The sunset was really pretty as well. We ate just seafood basically and all kinds were the best. Their oktopus was soo soft, the pasta was great too and they put so much seafood in the pasta it was mostly seafood. LOVED this place really good experience definitely...
