Peak Village Lodge — Hotel in Blouberg

We didn't know much about Peak Village Lodge before arriving and were so pleasantly surprised! It's in a neighborhood so it has a homey feel. You can see Table Mountain from the front yard! Inside the property you can sit at a table outside, or enjoyed the shaded canopy of patio. There was a comfortable public living room with TV and couches, and a public kitchen to use. In the rooms were basic kitchenette amenities. It was extremely clean. From Peak Village, it was less than a ten minute walk to the beach. It was actually nice to stay out of Cape Town because then the traffic wasn't so bad. It's definitely helpful to have a car if you stay here. We stayed with Jack and Janet for 10 days in January this year. Janet was very knowledgable about the area and further afield. ||The rooms were clean and spacious. We had our own guest lounge and full kitchen which all added to our stay , coming back after a busy day sightseeing we enjoyed being able to use all the facilities not just our rooms. ||Both Jack and Janet took a keen interest in our plans , they had produced a fact sheet which we found very useful indeed. . We really felt like part of the family in this cosy guest lodge. Janet, Michelle and Nick were amazing in helping us with everything. The Lodge is just a walkway from the beautiful Blouberg beach, the restaurants, coffee shops and grocery shops and faces a large green park where you can even do gym. The rooms are clean and very well kept with a kitchenette, private bathroom and TV.
