Kalahari Guest House — Hotel in Emalahleni Local Municipality

Pleasant people to deal with BUT the outside room we got had light curtains and a very powerful light shining into the room from outside all night making it impossible to sleep. We asked for it to switched off at night but it never was. We had to hang part of the bedding on the curtain rail to cut out the light. We had two breakfasts there - they were really appalling. The scrambled egg was hard and tasteless. The bacon was swimming in oil. The Boerewors was over-cooked and dry. There some other little sausages one day, which were smothered in greasy onion (I think) and were unrecognizable. The toast provided was hardly toasted. Our room had only coffee for the morning - and no tea. We had to ask for it and it was provided the next morning but not after that again. Not good enough really.
