Del Forno Witbank — Restaurant in Emalahleni Local Municipality

This was the second time I have given you restaurant the benefit of the doubt and wanted to have something to eat. First time we where two couples in the restaurant we waited 25minutes for the drinks we ordered where my husband got his first I waited my husband was finished with his drink and I got mine . We ordered food once again my husband got his food after 20 minutes we asked where is my food they forgot my order we walked out. Please don't comment on my post and say we should have contacted the owner she was standing right by the waiter as we complained and walked away as if there was absolutely nothing wrong. Tonight we decided to go to your restaurant again just to he treated by Unprofessional rude staff all of your waiters looking at us no one came to us to ask if we would like a table. We got one ourselfs is once again all the waiters looking at us one waiter brought a menu and that's that after 15minutes we stood up and left. Clearly the way the owner handled our first complaint and seeing that tonight we where treated says a hell of alot about how this restaurant gets managed how it's okay that your staff treat people in this manner. We arrived at 12h30 for lunch and decided to sit at the outside tables. There were no customers outside and inside the restaurant. The staffs were at the back of the counter minding their own business and playing on their cellular phones. All the tablecloths were dusty and pigeon droppings all over the table’s. None of the staff noticed us outside and only after calling them twice, one of the ladies came outside to assist us. I told her that the tables are all dirty, she replied that she will go and fetch a cloth to clean them. We then decided to rather sit inside the restaurant. Once again we had to wait for service and had to call them each time when we need something. On placing our order, we were then told that there are no avocado pears and they are still waiting for Head Office to deliver. Upon using the toilets, there was no soap in the dispensers. Again the blame was put on Head Office for not delivering the hand soap for the dispensers. When I received my bill, I noticed that the bill does not belong to me and was given the wrong bill. If this kind of service is going to carry on in the future, then I do not think that this business...

We ordered Rump Steak. One with side spinach and the other with side mashed potatoes. By the time we received our food it was ice cold, both had spinach as side orders and one "large" piece of rump (about 200 - 250g) was almost a total piece of fat which we dont eat!! It was a total waste of money and though we frequently ordered from them, this was definitely the last time. Trying to contact them telephonically was also a no-go as the phone kept giving busy signals, that for almost an hour and a half.
