If I could have given them zero stars, I would have done so. If it wasn't for the fact that we came from far and were tired, we wouldn't have stayed there. When we arrived, there weren't any dry towels, luckily we had our own. The aircon in the room didn't work and it was very cold. I asked for a heater and they brought a damaged bar heater, the switch for choosing 1 or 2 bars was broken, only both bars worked at the same time. The free satellite tv didn't work. There was no bottles of filtered water available. I had to go and ask for a teaspoon when I made coffee, there wasn't any in the room. We had to go and buy our own coffee and filtered water, so we bought the sticks of sweetened Capucino. The microwave oven was so dirty, we used it only because there wasn't an alternative. At night, the staff and other tenants would laugh and talk so loud, we couldn't sleep. I would not recommend this place to any civilised person, I can't believe that it is advertised on Booking.com and so many other travel websites. There is a placqard against the wall were you enter from the parking area, showing it is a 4-star establishment; I believe they bought this somewhere. They charged us R550 per night, just for sleeping there, which I feel was way too much. At least there...

Please read the reviews before booking here, don't make the mistake that I made! We've stayed at bad guesthouses before, but this was by far the worst! In the first place, false advertising! We didn't get the room that was applied for. The rooms look beautiful when advertised, however they don't even look like that. I think these are old photos. The room we got was filthy! They say there is WiFi, but when I phoned for the password it was said the WiFi isn't working! Why not mention this on arrival? The shower head you have to hold in your hand to shower. The staff weren't friendly at all.. There was a small kitchenette with 2 cups to make coffee, but no teaspoons (I suppose you must use your finger!), no cutlery, no plates. The drawers and cupboards were empty. I really don't know how this place is still operating! The photos speak...
