Panhandle Place Guest House — Hotel in Gauteng

If you are looking for a 5 star international hotel don't choose Panhandle but if a great sleep in quiet surroundings, good shower, friendly service in a secure place sounds interesting this is the place for you. My sister and I stayed for 9 days in the Blue family suite and Alta couldn't have been more obliging and helpful. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils to make self catering very easy. The gardens are beautiful. There is a small supermarket down the road for provisions. We didn't need TV ( rather limited stations available) - but the free WIFI was very reliable even when we were both using it. Oh wow! Panhandle stay was the best exceeded my expectation in every way from the moment we stepped in warmth and friendliness was felt and immediately we felt at home. The Cabin was neat quiet and everything we needed for our busy weekend in Johannesburg we returned to a full relaxation and restoration after each and every trip out. The hardest part was saying goodbye to such a lovely environment home away from home. I had a restful, quiet and very comfortable stay at the Panhandle Place and Guest House; the rooms are very well appointed, every room has a little patio in front of it to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine; self-catering options are also available in every room; the garden and sitting area in the garden are beautiful, and the owner, Alta, is such a warm and wonderful host and cook, taking great care of her guests.
