Saturday 9 March I made a booking for my mom who hadn't been there before. I have been 2x previously with the most amazing service. This day it was so unpleasant I will never go back. We arrived at 9-55am as our booking was at 10am. I greeted the host and received a cold shoulder back. Told her we have a booking for 2 people. She just stared at me so I repeated myself. "Well then what's your name" she says. Not good morning welcome to Goddess. I felt discriminated against as I wasn't dresses to the hilt or I didn't have a party of 10. She rushes us inside and shouts back again this is your table, I have an ailing mother who was not able to walk fast to the hosts liking. Oh well my mom was impressed by the decor as she hadn't been before. Me, it has definitely deteriorated. Pen marks all over the menues and dirty. Flowers falling off the mirrors. No space for a photo booth. Staff shouting at each other, the host yelling orders from the kitchen all the way to the outside area. Our coffee took 25minutes to make and it was cold. The waitress said they had strawberry jam and plonked marmalade down. When I asked for strawberry jam she then told us they don't have. My mom's fried eggs looked like they had been cooked on a skillet that hadn't been clean as they had black old oil pieces on them. Eventually a lady came and asked us if everything was okay. I proceeded to ask is the owner was in, she said no. I said you can clearly see that. Cats away the mice will play. Told her about our concerns. She said she is the brand manager of all the Goddess's. She was shocked that there wasn't strawberry jam. Dhe went to check and came back telling us there is, they just didn't bother to take it out of the fridge. She was truly apologetic and tried to offer us extra coffees. We took a slice of cake instead which was terribly dry. The icing wasn't even sticking to it. However she did try. No apology from the host or the lying waitress. Then we had to walk out through the front entrance as my mom cannot manage steps, told be told by the waitress again we cannot use as there is a private function. No empathy from her. I insisted on using the fromt which we eventually did. Disappointment to the highest level as I wanted this to be a special treat for my mom. By the way we were seated at table 13,...

Read moreSometimes all the hype about a place isnât really a hype, went into Godess cafe today with my sister for a brunch date , extremely disappointed with the service and especially the wait time for our food,my sister has been there before and had a very enjoyable experience, the food was delicious the Turkish eggs needs a little something it was a little bland but the other 2 meals was excellent however the service we received was very disappointing the store wasnât very busy , we waited 42min for our meals our waiter just didnât bother to check up on us the waiter had spilled some of the coffee and said she will be back with a serviette that never came my sister got up to get the serviette. We had to keep trying to get someoneâs attention for us to order more drinks , when our mealâs finally came on menu it said fried capers (we did not get them ) we asked our waiter and she âoh she is not sure why they did not fry the capers, but normally is doesnât come fried â we showed her menu then her response was âya I am not sureâ the manager or matron checked on every table except ours I am assuming because we were only 2 people the rest of the tables was 4 and more so overall I really wouldnât recommend you go unless you are a 4 and more by the way our bill was 550 for 2 people having a brunch date for that amount you would expect...
