Visited at 9:30am hoping for a quiet work-friendly coffee stop, instead, I walked into what felt like a glorified tavern. Music was loud, bass-heavy, and more suited to a nightclub than a café in an upmarket area. Most customers were on laptops trying to work, not dance to amapiano. I asked staff to turn it down, which they did, but the thudding bass remained nauseating. Is the music for stuff members or customers???
WiFi was unreliable, both the “5G” and standard connection barely worked, I couldn't connect. Staff admitted it’s a known issue.
I ordered a latte and toasted chicken mayo. Ten minutes later, I had to remind the server what I’d ordered. When it finally arrived, the sandwich was burnt.

It seems that at times it gets so busy there, that the cleaning gets neglected. Today a dozen bees were flying around in the kitchen because the counter was not clean. A big filled rubbish bag was lying on the floor visible for the clients. Flies were sitting on the food inside the fridge. Management ought to ensure that the shop gets cleaned thoroughly everyday and flies and bees are kept away. Perhaps the cafe would benefit from a cleaning service...
