Fish Eagle Lodge — Hotel in George

Beautiful lodge with lovely views and excellent breakfasts. The rooms are beautifully appointed, clean and well maintained. We had a room with a fireplace, which was a great advantage in the cool early spring temperatures. Other rooms had electric heating instead of a fireplace. Although we were the only guests for the three nights, which was due to the low season, the two of us were still served an extensive breakfast with fruit, cold cuts, egg dishes as desired (freshly prepared) and of course coffee and tea.

Wonderful place, very warm and friendly welcome by Lee. The room Falcon crest has a wonderful view, is big and has a separate small lounge beside the terace if is getting too cold to sit outside. Breakfast was very good, the hospitality outstanding. Thank you, Lee and Stefan, also for your good tips. As the lodge is outside of Knysna you have to do most things by car and you can hear the N2 during the night although not very loud. Next time in Knysna we...

The unit no 6 is small but amazing view of the Lagoon. The negatives are the bathroom is several steps down steep staircase. The breakfast is amazing in the breakfast room very good. The hosts are awesome Friendly and very efficient.Knysna it's really lovely. Unfortunately my Partner isn't the best and ruined the holiday. We are leaving tomorrow. Definitely recommend this...
