Paradise Found — Hotel in George

On a recent visit to RSA, we opted to spend a few days on the garden route. By good fortune we decided upon Knysna as our base, and by even greater fortune, found Paradise Found. Never has a place been more aptly named. High on the hills overlooking Knysna, the views are spectacular, and accomodation well appointed, comfortable and well equipped. Sitting on the balcony watching the day unfold and sun set, looking at people going about their business; angling, cycling, commuting, etc. was very pleasurable. Every single aspect of our stay was at least 10/10. The attention to detail and quality of service was exemplary. Nothing was too much trouble for Johan and his team. Our long chats over breakfast brought added pleasure and knowledge. Johan - you're a fab host!. We share your passion for environmental/sustainability matters. The location and views from the accommodation were great, the hygiene was top notch, the breakfast was great, but what I liked most was the incredible customer-friendliness, service commitment and communication with my host Johan. Breakfast every morning was a pleasure, not only because of the excellent breakfast, but especially the information Johan gave about the area and the country. Ask him a question, all the facts , and he has an answer. Paradise Found is truely a hidden gem of Knysna. You get unsurpassed views of the Lagoon and Knysna heads from the comfort of your room (completely unobstructed). Breakfast is served privately on your own balcony so you definitely have VIP treatment. Large beds and good wifi access - TV has Netflix and YouTube.
