If you are looking for a completely non-commercial, private, relaxing experience in knysna, this is the place to go. The studios are mostly wooden structures, giving them a lovely smell and cosy feeling. You get the best views of both the town and the lagoon from your balcony. The sunrise from the comfort of your bed is magnificent. If you're not keen on heights, there is a cabin that offers a comfortable stay with the view of the garden instead. The accommodation is family friendly but very well suited for couples. The 'living' roof and bamboo-rich garden adds a calm aesthetic and the sauna and hot tub can be booked for private sessions. The self-catering facilities are very well equipped with all the cutlery and crockery you could need. In comparison to many other self-catering facilities, these units are superb. Access to parking is easy and all the units lead out onto a wooden walkway. Very secure. The hosts, Ellie and Francois, are very welcoming and informative. It feels like you're going home to family. Do try the local pizzeria, Chatters, for some of the best woodfired pizza delivered to the property.
