Wonderful Stay at Leopard CORNER Lodge, St. Lucia

We recently spent a lovely few days at Leopard Lodge in St. Lucia, and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience at Leopard Corner Lodge. It was myself, my husband, and our 11-year-old twins, and from the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and looked after.

Hospitality: The hostess gave us great tips on local attractions but also took the time to book most of them on our behalf. She was always around, from early morning to late evening, ensuring everything ran smoothly and that guests were comfortable.

Rooms: were properly cleaned, maintained and very comfortable, with good linen and furniture.

Attention to detail: coffee, tea, sugar, milk, rusks, bottled water, shower gel, lotion, and even rusks were provided and replenished daily as needed. Bath towels, pool towels, and even beach towels (with a refundable deposit) were available, which made our stay that much easier.

The Koedoe unit we stayed in has its own little patio (though without a view), and the environment is peaceful and quiet. The unit is wheelchair accessible, offers free Wi-Fi, and has secure fenced-in parking.

The unit has a fully equipped kitchenette, but we opted for the paid breakfasts from the lodge. There’s a buffet with varying foods each day like yoghurts, fresh fruit cubes, crackers, cheeses, scones, muffins, flapjacks, etc. or the option to order a hot breakfast (just let them know the day before). For early excursions, breakfast hampers were available too—a thoughtful touch!

Noteworthy: The lodge has its own borehole and a generator. In South Africa, where load shedding is common and many towns often experience water outages due to loadshedding and/or poorly run municipalities, it's a real advantage to stay at a place that ensures a consistent supply of both electricity and water. This definitely adds to the comfort and convenience of your stay.

The kitchen staff were all friendly and professional, and the overall atmosphere of the lodge made us feel right at home.

From the moment we arrived, we were embraced like family, and I truly cannot express enough how grateful we are for making our stay so incredibly memorable. Cor, you run a flawless operation, and it’s clear to see the passion and care that goes into every detail. Morne, Lowrens, and the entire staff were exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure we felt right at home. Our anniversary was made even more special by the thoughtfulness of Morne, and we felt like royalty the entire time. The impeccable service, genuine warmth, and welcoming atmosphere made us feel part of your family. The staff truly made us feel like we were the most important guests, and we cannot thank you enough for that. This was my first time visiting St. Lucia, and it will surely not be our last. The beauty of the place was matched only by the kindness of everyone here. The activities, the conversations, the smiles—all of it made for an unforgettable experience. We were spoiled with delicious breakfasts, and Lowrens' pride in his cooking was evident in every bite. The caramel pastries were out of this world, and the thoughtful gesture of providing me with my own Nutella with a spoon will forever hold a special place in our hearts.
