Fernwood Manor — Hotel in Newlands

We stayed at Fernwood Manor in their King Suite and it was stunning. We especially appreciated the high quality linen and comfortable bed. Very quiet area and peaceful. Breakfast was also lovely. As we were travelling in winter it was very important to have accommodation with heating available - which Fernwood had and made all the difference. We were so comfortable.||The only issue we had was trying to start the fireplace in the shared living area, and couldn’t succeed. Might be helpful to have some instructions close by or someone in reception area...

We stayed at Fernwood Manor for 10 days and absolutely loved it, for so many reasons. The people are kind, and extremely accommodating and helpful. Our room and all of the common areas were always immaculate. Breakfast is delicious, varied, and plentiful (those chocolate muffins are phenomenal!), and the whole experience of staying there felt like we were staying with good friends. Fernwood Manor is well located in a gorgeous and quiet neighborhood, and is convenient to wherever we wanted to go. When we go back to Cape Town, we will definitely stay...
