I recently checked in to have a little mom break and found the service to be absolutely wonderful. A very warm and kind welcome, in true SA style. Nothing was too much effort. Noordhoek Farm Village is one of my favourite places to be in Cape Town. The Food Barn food is exceptional, the vibe at Cafe Roux is so wonderful (the playground too if you’re travelling with kids), the little shops are so well stocked I spent ages just wondering around and going for a massage at Caroline’s will melt the stress away ☺️ I enjoyed sushi both nights for dinner at the hotel and it was really yummy and fresh. The Pad Thai was also delicious.
The rooms- I asked for a quiet room so was initially put downstairs on the courtyard. The room felt a bit dark and cold, so I moved upstairs to the most lovely bright and modern room, flooded with sunshine, the most beautiful view of the village and mountains, with stunning wood floors and neutral decor, but knowing that noise from the village may be an issue. During the day it was quiet but at night there was noise. If I had been visiting to enjoy some nightlife it wouldn’t have been a problem at all as it does quieten down after 11pm, but I visited for a bit of a retreat from the noise and chaos of home and so I did feel bothered by the pub noise. This is literally the only down side I could think of for this wonderful little hotel. The room was nice and spacious, a mini fridge and kettle station with tea and coffee, nice sized bathroom with big bath and shower. Everything worked well and there were no issues at all.
I would say for most wanting to travel and explore, this hotel offers exceptional value for money, wonderful service, a great base to explore and a little village at your door step. There is no place like it ❤️ Thanks so much for...
Read moreI had planned to stay at Noordhoek Village Hotel in Cape Town on January 22, 2025, but unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I never had the opportunity to experience it firsthand. My flight was cancelled because Cape Town Airport was shut down due to power and fuel issues. Despite this unexpected turn of events, I felt compelled to share my remarkable experience with the hotel's management, even from afar.||Mr. Max Matthecka, the manager of Noordhoek Village Hotel, demonstrated unparalleled understanding and professionalism during this challenging situation. Without any hesitation, he provided me with a full refund, showcasing not just exceptional customer service, but genuine empathy and kindness. This level of support and consideration is rare in today's fast-paced world, and it left a lasting impression on me.||Although I did not get the chance to stay at Noordhoek Village Hotel, the integrity and compassion displayed by Mr. Matthecka and his team have ensured my loyalty. On my next trip to Cape Town, I will undoubtedly be booking my stay there, not just to enjoy what I am sure is a fantastic hotel, but to support a business that truly understands that life happens and stands by its guests through thick and thin.||Thank you, Noordhoek Village Hotel, for turning a disappointing travel experience into one filled with gratitude and admiration. I look forward to meeting you all in...
