Firstly, the owner, Francois Swart was very helpful and accommodating from the start, when I got my dates mixed up somewhow. He quickly changed it for me without any fuss. The same frurndky demeanour was apoarent when we met up. As for the venue, it was more than we expected. We hoped for (for the great price) a comfortable room and what we got was a clean, comfortable and cosy 'granny-flat' with all the accessories and A SEA VIEW thrown in. From friendly hosts to great accommodation and within a stone's throw of the harbour and the Main Street, Oom Piet Accommodation is definitely a venue we will visit again and try out another of the options available... perhaps the two-bedroom with balcony and sea view. As for the 4-star + rating... well deserved and worthy of more. But, don't take my word for it. Check it out for yourself - like we did.

We had a wonderfull stay at this accommodation the view from our balcony overlooking the harbor was so peacefull. The beds have heating and everything was clean and ready for us. They just need to cater for the loadshedding in the morning for the coffee lovers. Wont find accomodation that cheap with all that we had anywhere els. Lovely night spent.

Very cool little spot in Gaansbaai. Quaint little guest houses with most things you need for a little getaway. My friend and I stayed for the weekend and found stuff very friendly, welcoming and comunicative. The place was easy to book, conveniently located and we were even given some good recommendations for eateries nearby

Awesome spot with an incredible view. The upper room (2nd story) has a lovely private balcony with great kitchen, couches and nice TV. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with enough space and shelves to unpack. The beds even has a nice electric warmer, which was a perfect end to a chilly day.

Host and staff were very nice and accommodating. They made it easy to find and helped us make traveling easier with our check out and arrival, which were based around our travel agenda.

I'm sad I didn't get to stay longer, it's somewhere I would love to live. Highly recommend and can't wait...
