The hotel is located in the heart of the Polokwane, which is Limpopo Province’s capital city. It is easily accessible and situated in a great and central spot.
The Rooms are beautiful and neat. The staff are very warm and welcoming, friendly, from the receptionist, to housekeeping, to restaurant patrons and to the General Manager. I stayed for six full weeks, and did not feel homesick because of their friendliness. Mr Taku Borerwe, the General Manager and his staff members offer you the best service, customer service is important to them.
The level of the food they cook is actually above the standard level of a 3 star. They are actually far better than their mother hotel in one of the big cities I have been to which is related at a 4 star. If you want good food, you can come and dine in this place. From breakfast, lunch to supper : both their Ala Carte and buffet meals are the best. They also offer traditional food for those who have an interest in such foods. There is always a variety of options of food to choose from even when they are serving a buffet.
I would never want to stay in another hotel except this one. I have been around the world and have made my comparison, and I still recommend Garden Court Polokwane and say they are the best.
The nearest areas of interest that are close tj the hotel are the Polokwane Museum; Peter Mokaba Stadium; Polokwane Game Reserve; Mall of the North and Savanah mall, etc.
Lastly, you can also earn points while you sleep or dine. Those points you can also use and pay for accommodation, food, etc: this is the best rewards Programme I have ever seen as compared to other hotels because it is for free: I have benefited over all these years from their...
Read moreI have been a guest of Tsogo Sun hotels from SUN1 Edenvale to Southern Sun The Cullinan, and most recently during the COVID times Southern Sun Montecasino, before 28 March 2020 the service I was getting at Polokwane Garden Court if I have to rate it was 150% plus when everything was normal compared to the other hotels. My recent two visits to your hotel during COVID time, I have seen more than 80% improvement in my last visit, and you have outdone yourselves from the security up to your GM. The front Office has become innovative in communicating with guests during these COVID times ,I observed proper social distancing being followed and all other COVID prevention measures .The welcome at the reception blew me off, it was more than what I expected, the warmth and friendliness of your staff was out of this world. All these made notice I am at home, not feel like I am home! Ms. Refilwe Malefane, The Front Office Manager, please note your contribution and hard work is noted with the little resource at hand. If I can rate your Front Office service in comparison to the Southern Sun Montecasino I will give them 180% plus and Polokwane 200% plus although you are not in the same star grading. I have also seen a huge improvements to the Hotel Management as a whole including other departments that I may not have mentioned. Compliance with COVID 19 precautionary measures was excellent. My overall rating for Polokwane Garden Court is 180% plus. Keep up the exceptional service you are offering, and will definitely...
Read moreI was a resident at your hotel recently, however I had to check out early due to aggravated sinuses because of the mat in the room. I assume they are not well maintained as the passage towards my room was dirty looking like it hasn't been vacuumed. In addition to this, upon arrival the lady did not organise assistance for me even though she could see that I have luggage and there’s no lift cause is only two floors. I had to look for help myself. The worse was waking up to the car full of bird poo. Upon return after my meeting, I asked the lady at reception if she can help with organising for the car to be washed just the outside, she said unfortunately they do not help with that and pointed me to a car wash not far from the hotel. I then asked what is your guys plan to deal with that cause you cannot expect residents to take the car to the car wash everyday should they park in that area. It was light outs on both of the ladies. I then offered possible considerations as opposed to expecting residents to see themselves out of the situation. Cut the tree if possible Get a carport for the area Block out the area to prevent residents from parking there. I had to take the car to the car wash myself, costing e R150. You would really do well for yourselves if you could work on improving...
