Newlands Cottages offers a very pleasant stay in the Newlands area of Cape Town. The cottages are generally well-appointed and comfortable, yet there are some minor improvements that could be made. For example, there is no powerplug close to the only table in the cottage, a problem if you want to use an electronic device while it is charging. Also, the Venetian blinds in the bedrooms are somewhat clunky to raise and lower and very dusty. Susanne and Werner both went out of their way to ensure that I was well taken care of - they are special people.||I was told that Klipper Road was very busy but I did not hear any traffic at all where I was in Little Clarkia. The only downside for me was that my vehicle would not fit in to the parking bay behind the sliding steel gate, but my vehicle is abnormally long.
