Good evening,

I am writing to formally report a deeply concerning and unacceptable incident that took place this evening outside your Dean Street branch.

My family and I have been loyal customers of The Creamery for many years. As we have done countless times before, we visited this evening for two half-and-half cones and two tubs of ice cream. We did not have cash or change for the car guard, so instead, we thoughtfully brought him a loaf of bread and some Sunday leftovers as a kind gesture.

When we offered him the food, he responded with visible disgust, used foul language towards us, and threatened us in an aggressive manner, telling us never to come back. This occurred in front of my family, and left everyone shaken.

This behaviour is completely unacceptable and raises serious safety concerns for customers visiting your store. The fact that this individual represents The Creamery premises in any capacity makes the matter even more serious.

Unless this specific car guard is removed from duty at the Dean Street branch and appropriate action is taken to ensure customer safety, my family and I will not be returning — and I will have no choice but to escalate this matter further with local authorities and community safety forums.

I trust The Creamery will treat this complaint with the seriousness it deserves and will respond with a clear action plan to prevent similar incidents...

The parking situation is very chaotic to begin with. The Newlands Quarter is meant to be a more up market Centre yet after 5pm you get harassed by unofficial "car guards". During the day, the city pays for car guards in which you can pay via card. This is simple and efficient.
