Bono Luxury Guesthouse — Hotel in Rustenburg Local Municipality

We had booked 7/9 rooms available and this was our experience, we were shocked when we arrived at the place.This place is nothing like what's shown in the pictures online, it's quite deceiving. It's old, not well maintained and is not a luxury guesthouse. The rooms were very old and corresponding bathrooms had taps that weren't working properly, some of the bed linen were not clean, was dusty. The house itself smelt funny and old. The outside area is not well maintained either, the small Lapa area had an old couch and behind it was just old things dumped there, very eyesore sight.

The aircon in one of the rooms was making a noise all night, it was quite hot so we had to have it on and had to deal with the noise. The first night, the lady that stays on sight had her boyfriend over and his car alarm kept going off every 10min from 12am - 2am. It was so ridiculous and we barley managed to sleep. The next night was a different person on sight and they had a visitor who kept hooting at the gate at 10pm. Very disturbing and unpleasant environment. I wouldn't recommend this place to those that are looking for anything above a 1star accommodation, I felt so uneasy the entire stay- it felt like I was in a backpackers...

This lodge is deceiving potential clients as the rooms look nothing like the pictures advertised. Maybe in the past it did, but to me it looked like it is not well maintained. I had booked for work for 3 nights and "apparently I didnt answer my phone" to confirm if I was still coming so I was given a room outside with a jojo tank and a pile of rubbish as a view. My booking had stated breakfast & dinner to be included but to my surprise they were not aware of the dinner part so I had to make my own plan to organize food for the night.
