Grand Central Guesthouse — Hotel in Rustenburg Local Municipality

Alright so my purpose for me and partner to land at this awesome Guesthouse is that it was my birthday weekend, got there in Friday evening after a long drive from Johannesburg and we were welcomed by the lovely owner, her name is Charmaine Koen. Bookings were done prior so everything was hustle free for us, we just signed a disclaimer and got the rooms keys, the place is neat, the is a secure parking and the stuff members are honest and integrity, I am saying this because I lost out on a bet with girlfriend that wen returned from suncity, the room will be the same without being cleaned but guess what, on Saturday morning we went to suncity and when we returned the room was cleaned without us being aware, our personal belongings, money and laptops where still there and they were not touched not even moved. Booked for two nights with family. Service is good and the booking communication is the best as there are follow ups for confirmation and to check up on you if you still coming. Rooms clean and big to accommodate a family, rules for not eating in room are there but not sure if it’s possible as there are still cockroaches in the rooms. Hot water shower it’s a no no as we could not have hot water, reasons unknown as it was hot and cold shower for adults was possible but not for kids. Lasty the workers hardly greet. Jackie will be the only friendly person around and most people don’t greet around there. But we had fun with family as we had activities to attend to...

I have never met such a friendly host in my life (Charmaine), she was helpful from the day I inquired about the booking to the day we checked out. When we arrived we were welcomed with a warm smile and the place is lovely. The request of double beds in all rooms I booked were met. The place is clean, quiet and the environment is lovely. Breakfast was OK but I think it can be improved in terms of having a individual guest breakfast options because not everyone eats the same thing, besides that we had a fabulous time and would recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in Rusternburg.
