Horrible expensive, I was in tears for the 2 days I spent there. Jacuzzi was not working, breakfast had a horrible bitter taste, the microwave looked like it exploded. Horrible customer service from the owner, she refused to cancel our reservations and wanted to take it all, after we discovered everything advertised was not as it looked. All year pool..... :-( . No water in the room, we have to drink from the bathroom. Just imagine! I requested check in at 11_12pm and check out at 11-12pm. Already by 9 am- we were told to leave. My partner caught one of the employees and tumi gossiping about us over the phone, he confronted her........ she explained that tumi was asking what we were doing..... the employee explained that she has been telling tumi that the room is not in good condition and tumi still insisted on making us sleep there, I called her and explained my frustrations, she was rude and told me to take it up with bookings. Breakfast comes very late. We left on the 17th with broken hearts. We felt ripped off. I was ready to pay for one night and get refund for one night and not sleep there at all. I wasn't happy, I was disappointed...... my partner kept on reminding me of my bad choice. I've never felt so cheated in my life. What we came for was the Jacuzzi. The Jacuzzi was dead. Not working. The place is dirty. I'm so sad. Very disappointed. Ended up not enjoying anything. I can leave my comfortable home to pay for a hole. Tumi, I'm disappointed in you, you would have compromised to make us happy, when we drove out, used the opportunity to clean up the room make it smell good. Instead you didn't care, you can't make us warm up food in a pitch black microwave that looked like it once explored. Our health is important. The room was very cold because the door doesn't close properly. Ants all over the room, those red big ants. The smell from that room was strong and horrible. I had to throw away the pink block they left on the window. I'm so disappointed because I chose the place and my partner had a bad feeling, I insisted. I wanted it for the Jacuzzi. It wasn't working. Read moreMy wife and I were returning from Thabazimbi to Sutherland in the Northern Cape. We decided to sleep over in Rustenburg because it was already 20h00 and we were tired. First of all the guesthouse is located in a very secluded spot. It is very quiet and I had a comfortable night's rest. The disappointment started when we discovered that there was no water at the guest house. We had to ask the reception instead of them informing us upon arrival that there was no water. The receptionist assured us that the water would be back at 20h30. My wife and I decided to sleep as we were very tired after a long day in Thabazimbi. The next morning when we woke up the water was still turned off. At this point we thought the guest house had not paid for their services there since the water had been disconnected by the municipality. My wife walked over to the reception and she was informed by the reception that a pipe burst the previous day. Management was nowhere to be found, so the receptionist had to make a plan for us to get clean water. I think communication could be improved in situations like these. Guest house management should have a plan for situations like these. I am aware that these are unforeseen circumstances. And no one can predict when this could happen. Read moreWhenever i think of this guest house my heart aches, i booked and paid then cancelled within 12 hours of booking through booking.com and booking.com asked them to make exception for me then i called and sent emails to request for refund or atleast be given a future date to stay or atleast come stay for the weeeknd i had booked for since the rooms were already paid for R6939.04 via online and seeing that i wont be refunded i then asked the management to provide exception for alternatives but they refused to assist me in any way. I am disapointed and would not recommend anyone to stay at this kind of a guesthouse that has management with zero interest in assisting or making exceptions to guest to meet customer satisfaction but after money only as they can easily book the rooms again for others to stay while they refused to allow me stay making a double profit for the rooms. I can not review on this this property because i did not even get a chance to stay here, i had to look for another atlernative...
