We had the most unforgettable experience at Fransvliet, staying with a wedding party of 24 people. From the moment we arrived, Vanessa and her team made us feel completely at home. Their warmth, attention to detail, and willingness to go the extra mile truly made our stay incredibly special.

Vanessa went out of her way to accommodate us in every possible sense, from arranging logistics, helping with last-minute needs, to ensuring every guest was comfortable and happy. Her hospitality was unmatched, and we felt genuinely cared for throughout the entire stay.

The accommodation was stunning, the houses were beautifully maintained, tastefully decorated, and offered everything we needed and more. The staff were kind, professional, and attentive, and the breakfasts were delicious.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 days, and we totally fell in love with this little gem. We were in one of the garden suites, which was more spacious than we had anticipated. Juanita checked us in, sorry if we haven't spelt the name correctly, and she gave us an insight of the area to start us off. We also sampled some of Fransvliet's own wine, very yummy Sauvignon Blanc and Chenin Blanc. The room had everything we needed to make it a comfortable stay. Open plan bedroom and seating area, with patio area with further seating. The bathroom was large with double basin, shower and bath. We opted for the breakfast, which was freshly made everyday by Victor and his team.|Easy access to Franschoek area by own car, or taxi which was easy to book. We stayed at the Fransvliet Self-Catering Country Cottage in November 2022. What a time to visit, with the gardens in full bloom, wonderful weather and colours that no camera can catch.

Fransvliet Estate is a small and personal estate that shows the owner`s love and care to their property in every detail. The cottage is way more spacious than the picture can even show, with the highest ceilings, 2 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with big walk-in showers and a bath in each (most comfortable evening spent here with a good bottle of wine and views of the garden from the bath!). The kitchen has everything you will ever need for your stay, even a dishwasher which makes life with 4 people really easy.

A really good bean to cup coffee machine gives you to the perfect start to the day and the fire place ends it perfectly.
