Unit:||Separate unit with its own covered parking spot. The unit consisted of a combined living area and a separate bedroom and bathroom. The rooms were simple and the furniture could use a bit of an update, but overall, everything was spotlessly clean. The kitchen is fully equipped with no lack of cutlery, glasses, plates or pots and pans, which made self-catering very comfortable. We were even provided with coffee, tea and sugar. The units are cleaned daily and even the dishes were washed. The parking spot as well as the pathway leading to it, are a bit narrow and not ideal for larger vehicles such as SUVs or minibusses. ||||Premises:||Large premises with a beautiful garden and pool. Read moreFrom the moment we entered the room, we were met with an overwhelming stench of stale cigarette smell. This unpleasant odor permeated the entire space. The provided Blankets, stored in an old, dirty wardrobe, also reeked of same smell, further compounding the issue.
Pool was equally disappointing. The pool itself was murky green, clearly indicating lack of proper cleaning. Despite assurance from "Patricia"on our 1st day that the pool will be cleaned (please see attached pictures taken on day 4).
Bathroom was perhaps the most concerning aspect of the accommodation. Mold was rampant, clinging to the damp, sticky walls. The lack of extractor fan, coupled with a window inexplicably labeled "DO NOT OPEN THIS WINDOW", resulted in a perpetually stuffy and uncomfortable atmosphere.

Read moreSimple and straight forward. Had everything we needed. It is walking distance from all important places. We only found an FNB bank, if you nwed cash but all places we visited had card facilities. There is a Spar down the road to stock up on what you will need For self service. For the summer months there is a nice pool. A nice place to stay for a few days if you have too or want too. Parking for low or large vehicles can be a challenge. If you are towing a small trailer, you might find things a bit more challenging but not impossible. It located off the main street. Safety wasn't a concern but as it's South Africa always be vigilant. Pay a visit to Joe Bangles for leather belts and bangles. Oh, and watch out for the cows that seems to take an afternoon walk...
