Brown-Dot Songdo Beach — Hotel in Busan

Just do it!

It's a really nice cheap hotel.

Clean, for us as Europeans that is, maybe not compared to the 5 star Hilton crowd experience. But jeez it's 25 euro a night for a room, you don't compare it to a 250 euro plus room do you? They have a complementary breakfast(did I mention that it's only 25 euro, so don't expect a smorgasbord of food) which contains bread for toast, eggs, jam, milk, sweeted cornflakes, chocolate puffs, milk, coffee and tea. It's free. It's a basic start of your feeding frenzy day in Korea anyway.

In the evening you can even use the pantry with sea view for making some ramion or having a coffee. Or bring your own soju and look at the storm passing from the warm/cold but dry comfort of the hotel. It's located on songdo beach, in the best area of Busan for seeing the sites. (Bus to gamcheon, city centre, or food quarter etc are all in walking distance. You even get a discount for the skyrail btw. The rooms are really good considering the price. Spacious clean to normal standards, air-conditioning, payperview tv(with basic Korean channels too) spacious bed, nice shower, fridge etc. We stayed in the standard with half view, wich was fine. So can't really say about the rooms below that, but above that should be even better. More space, better view etc.

I was apprehensive at first because of some review (I think they expected to stay in the Mariod or something), but I took the gamble and payed off big time.

In short. No no Hilton, but no Hilton prices either. Good clean spacious rooms, easy to reach even by bus, well worth the gamble. Enjoy...

Excellent hotel and service. Some of the staff may not speak english so br careful and try to use google translate or print your online bookings.

They were very hospitable by giving us some fruit to eat as we waited for the rooms to be cleaned. They also offered us coffee as it is literally everywhere in South Korea (coffee obsessed) which I am coffee obsessed too so perfect match for me.

The rooms were great, semi ocean view but was okay enough for me as sun would come in during the morning. The bed was huge and comfy. The washroom was excellent and the wifi was fast enough for all my needs.

The location was great, although no train but there were busses to take you to Nampadong which is like the center and the place to go to see busan tower and a Lotte mall. And from there you can catch the train station to wherever you want and exchange currencies.

Also you can walk onto the beach and the sky walk pier. You can also see the cable cars passing over the ocean and a few statues near there and in the water.

This is a great hotel for the price. They cleaned everyday and even left water bottles everyday. It's right on the beach and we had a deluxe view room. Great view, and opening the window at night to listen to the dinners on the beach was a relaxing night. Only downside, is that, the hotel is far from all the tourist locations. The beach is quiet so if you're just there for a seaside getaway it's great. But as a tourist, it was 1 hr+ to get to all the tourist attractions Also, the remote in the room controls everything, so the wall thermostat doesn't work, the A/c controls are...
