Shandrani — Restaurant in Busan

We loved the delicious food in this second-floor restaurant in a building in the Songdo area. We arrived rather late - around 8pm - and were the only patrons there, but the chef was more than happy to serve us. The salad was fresh and crisp and the margherita pizza was delicious. My mom said this was the best Italian food she's ever had!

There's also a cute little cat (Olive or Ollie) that hangs out on a cat tree or in a cat bed in the corner of the restaurant. She's friendly and happy to visit if approached.

The only thing that stopped us from returning to Shandrani for a second meal is that it was closed the day we were back in the Songdo area. I highly recommend eating at this restaurant...

A typical one-person-does-all of the work type restaurant, so the wait can be long if there is another table ordering before you. I ordered food, waited for over half an hr, and then was told he didn’t have the ingredients to make my dish - would I like to order a margarita pizza. Seemed the only thing on offer so I agreed. GF loved the restaurant as there was a beautifully grumpy looking cat she could pat. A gem of a restaurant in the Songdo Beach area. We had the beef and mushroom pasta, carbonarra and margarita pizza and everything was spectacular. Prepared to order in an open kitchen, with a proper pizza oven. Even the garden salad, which I ordered to force my children to eat vegetables, was good (and they ate it). As an added bonus, there is a friendly, soft and immensely pettable resident cat, who make the whole experience feel extra personal.
