Would have rated 4 if better soundproofing (see below). Very nice and friendly staff, clear instructions on services, wake-up call, shuttle etc. Stayed in a Standarad Single Room: a nice bathtub complimentaries (single-use) such as toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, juice and water etc complimentaries (shared in between guests) such as hair gel, moisturizer, shampoo, conditioner etc not very soundproof, especially the door, so you'll hear everybody who's walking/talking in the corridor Korean style rock-hard bed no power outlets close to the bed
Somewhat shabby neighborhood. After a week of Korean culinary experiences, good and bad, we looked for some western style food, but didn't see any. Few places had more than extremely basic English in their menus (i.e. "pig" or "seafood", no description) if any, and in general it was hard to find staff that could explain menus, prices or closing times. We ordered something that turned out to be assorted DIY grill-at-the-table Korean barbecue at the place just across the street - it was very good but not recommended unless you have previous experience in how it works, which we...
Read moreThe person at the reception desk was quite friendly, and in the room where I stayed for just one night, there was one double bed and a single bed, which was more than I expected. There was a separate room for the toilet and for the shower. Here are the pros and cons of this hotel:++ Location: Close to the Incheon Airport, only two/three train stations away from terminal 1/2, and the hotel is 10 walking minutes away from the train station (Unseo).++ Very clean room and facilities.+ The toilet had a heater and a couple of other functions. I honestly don't care about those features, but if you like them, then you will like using the bathroom.++ I paid only about 350 CNY for one night, which makes the hotel a very good value for money.- The shower did not have a door, which means that using the shower makes the whole floor wet, and the water sink is a few meters away. However, there is a shower head above the tub, which I preferred.Overall, I was happy with the stay, and I would book the hotel again next time I have a longer...
Read moreAwful experience! Not sure if I should blame Aeroflot, Incheon Airport, the hotel or all three but it was bad. Flight got canceled, information was disseminated in Korean only with no regard for the English speaking customers which I would be fine with at a restaurant in Seoul, but not the damn Airport hotel. We waited nearly 24 hours and every time we tried to figure out what was going on we got blank stares and shrugs from the staff. Also, I am pregnant and the food they did give us was on the no no list for pregnancy. When I complained about that and asked for alternatives I got a "so sorry" and another shrug. Also, my room was gross. The bathroom was wet like someone had just showered in there with pools of water everywhere, it smelt like cigarettes, and there were fruit flies everywhere. I simply cannot believe...
