My stay at the Grand Walkerhill Seoul was nothing short of magical, a true 5/5 experience that left me feeling utterly pampered and refreshed. From the moment I stepped into the elegant lobby, I knew I was in for something special. The air itself seemed to hum with a quiet sophistication, a perfect blend of modern luxury and serene natural beauty.
What truly struck me was the breathtaking view. My room overlooked the Han River, and waking up to the gentle shimmer of the water and the distant city lights was simply unforgettable. It wasn't just a view; it was a feeling of calm and expansiveness, a rare luxury in a bustling city like Seoul. Every morning, I found myself just gazing out the window, a cup of coffee in hand, feeling a profound sense of peace.
The room itself was a haven of comfort. The bed, in particular, felt like sleeping on a cloud – easily the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever experienced. Every detail, from the plush linens to the thoughtful amenities, felt carefully curated to ensure maximum relaxation. And the service? Impeccable. The staff anticipated my needs before I even knew I had them, always with a warm smile and genuine willingness to help. Their attentiveness made me feel truly valued, not just as a guest, but as an individual.
While the hotel is a little further from the absolute heart of the city, the convenient shuttle service made getting around a breeze. In fact, being slightly removed from the urban intensity was part of its charm. It felt like a true escape, a serene resort nestled amidst nature, yet still easily connected to Seoul's vibrant energy.
Whether it was a leisurely swim in the beautiful pool, a quiet moment in the library, or simply enjoying the tranquil surroundings of the Forest Park, every aspect of my stay at Grand Walkerhill Seoul contributed to an overwhelming feeling of wellbeing. It wasn't just a hotel; it was an experience that touched my soul, leaving me with cherished memories and a strong desire to return. This place isn't just luxurious; it's genuinely...

Read moreThis is a review based on the tattoo policy ONLY.||||The room was adequate and the Japanese restaurant here was amazing. The reason I am writing is because of the prejudiced tattoo policy.||I was allowed to use the pool, but denied entry into the fitness center unless I covered my tattoos. I have two full sleeve tattoos. I was allowed to use the indoor pool, the restaurants, they were happy to take my money for the hotel and other uses. But, for some reason, I was not allowed to exercise unless I covered my tattoos. With two full sleeves, that means wearing a long-sleeved shirt to exercise in the middle of summer. How unacceptable and archaic. ||I spoke to the front desk about this. The worker was actually surprised that this was a rule. First, the worker thought the fitness supervisor was using personal prejudice, but I explained that it is actually on a posted sign, too. Both the front desk worker and the fitness supervisor agreed that the rule is prejudiced and nonsensical, but they had to enforce the hotel’s rules. The front desk person said they would pass the information along to the higher ups. ||The fitness center itself is adequate. You can rent shoes if you need them. Free weights are a modest selection, adequate weight machines, several running machines, and you can also hire a personal trainer. There is a sauna option as well.||||Again, the low review is ONLY for the tattoo policy. The staff was kind and helpful, the food was quite good for the breakfast buffet and insanely delicious for the Japanese restaurant…I never knew food could taste THAT good!! The room was...
