Golden Dragon — Restaurant in Seoul

It had been raining steadily for the past two days, casting a soft, gray haze over the city—a kind of weather I secretly enjoy. On this particular day, I had the added delight of being invited to dine with someone special at one of the premium restaurants in Walkerhill Hotel. It was my first visit to this spot, and the moment I stepped inside, I was completely taken by the sweeping view of the Han River. I’ve always had a weakness for a beautiful view, and this one instantly won me over.

The Chinese cuisine here is easily among the finest I’ve ever tasted. From the very start, their signature black bean welcome drink set the tone—unique, refined, and unexpectedly comforting. The service was impeccable, even though we had managed to reserve a table only at the last minute, in a dining room already buzzing with guests.

There’s a vibrant energy to this place, perhaps because it’s perched high atop one of my favorite mountains, 아차산. I’m already looking forward to returning, not just for that breathtaking view, but to explore more of the menu that I’m sure holds even more...

Booked early to get seating in the hall by the window. Much better view than in the rooms. 평일 점심 먹으려고 예약없이 방문하니 홀은 만석이고 전망없는 룸으로 이용가능하다 하심 단품 가볍게 먹으러 온거라 그냥 갔는데 예약없이 온 손님도 재빠른 응대로 안내하는 프로페셔널한 느낌 방은 프라이빗하지만 역시 좀 답답하긴했음 나는 올해 멤버쉽이 있어 식사권을 쓰러왔다 시그니쳐라고도 하고 검색해도 무난히 추천하는 북경식탕수육과 삼선해물짬뽕 볶음밥 맛나다고 하여 짜장 포기하고 게살볶음밥 주문 기본찬은 짜사이,양배추피클,땅콩인데 땅콩과 양배추피클이 맛남 차가 너무 맛났음 내가 먹은 중식당 차 중 베스트 차를 잘 모르지만 흔히 먹던 자스민차 같았다

주문 후 탕수육 나오기까지 시간이 꽤 걸리더라는 주문이 많아서 그럴걸로 생각

탕수육은 생각보다 무난? 응? 물론 맛있지 바삭하고 근데 흠.....기대에는 많이 못미치는 맛 일행은 탕수육은 본인스타일 아니지만 소스는 맛있다는데 내 기준은 너무 달았다 나는 그냥 고기튀김으로 먹음

식사 나오는 것도 꽤 걸렸는데 룸에서 천천히 술마시며 얘기한다면 괜찮을 속도 점심이라 탕수육 먹으며 기다리니 짬뽕얼른 먹고파짐 식사는 반씩 나누어 서빙받았는데 식사도 흠...응? 짬뽕은 전형적인 호텔식 깔끔한국물 해물삼선인데 해물이 별로없음 면이 세젓가락하니 없어서 ㅠㅠ 볶음밥도 뭐 그닥 식사 후 후식이 나오기에 기다려도 오시지 않고 호출드리니 후식 바로주심 망고 뭐라고 하셨으나 오묘한맛 같이주신 찰떡도넛이 맛있다

생각보다 많이 실망한 워커힐 금룡 코스요리도 궁금하긴 하지만 기본 단품은 기대보단 맛없었ㅜ
