The place was easily accessible via train, just a short walk from Samgakji station (exit 1 or 13). It's also close to the airport bus stop that takes you directly to Incheon Airport - very convenient. It also has a nearby convenience store, and is surrounded by a lot of restaurants and cafes so you won't have to worry about where to get lunch or breakfast.||||Most of the guests I've met there are quite friendly and will give you tips on what to do if it's your first time in the city. They also have a kitchen in the 3rd floor so you can cook your own meals if you feel like it. We sadly didn't get a chance to see the rooftop and the upper floors because we were so tired by the time we returned. ||||The main floor of the guesthouse is on the 2nd floor, including the reception desk, and you have to climb a steep set of stairs to get there which proved quite challenging when most of their guests are carrying huge luggages - no handrails btw, so you have to be careful. I was carrying a collective weight of 20kgs when I first arrived and had to get help from Johnny as it was impossible for me to do it myself. ||||With its popularity among travelers comes the obvious problem of it being fully packed with people, which can get chaotic when everybody wants to use the showers at once. The place is a little small and there wasn't a lot of room to move around in once all the guests arrive and are...

The booking website falsely listed both self-service laundry facilities and paid laundry services as separate options. Guests are required to use their paid laundry service — 5,000 KRW each for washing and drying. If a guest uses the laundry facilities without permission, they will be fined 100,000 KRW.
Although I was eventually only fined 20,000 KRW, the relevant information was posted on a notice inside the check-in area. The entire process was handled by a Chinese woman who translated for the foreign female manager, but the fine stated on the notice was actually just a late check-out fee (10,000 KRW). The same Chinese woman later used a calculator to show me a 100,000 KRW fine.
Later, the foreign female manager noticed that I didn’t have much money in my wallet, so she reduced the fine by 80,000 KRW. I suspect this might have been a scam. After doing some research, I found out that the previous owner of this goshiwon was a young Korean man who had a reputation for being kind and friendly.
In addition, the place was extremely dirty and rundown, and the photos on the website were taken six years ago.
In contrast, when I stayed at another goshiwon run by a Korean owner this March, the laundry facilities listed on the website were genuinely...

• Stayed one night (between 18/10 & 19/10). • Dormitory room. One bed. Lower Deck. (WON20,000/bed/night)
⦿ Not difficult to pin-point location using Google map (NOT Kakao map).
+ve Free & easy. In terms of, easy self checkout. No deposit required. Free to use kitchen. Water dispenser available at the kitchen. Strong WiFi connection. Basic facilities provided. Spick and span in common area.
-ve Accommodation pricing is crazy and it fluctuates daily/hourly. Sometimes, it is affordable but it can get expensive! Pricing (bed/night) is a little expensive for the location but that's alright. Not allowed to check-in early despite there was two people in the dormitory. That was a big minus point. No key/card/password given. Which means, any stranger able to creep in. The French housekeeper chambermaid neither accommodating nor informative (一问三不知). Personally, I dislike climbing up & down dark stairs during cold night. (eg toilet at 3rd level occupied, I have to go 2nd level)
Generally, it is still worth staying. The value of the accommdation was what I paid for. Neither do I expect high standard nor 5-star rating hotel.
