Ca Sa Tieta — Hotel in Alaró

The rooms are OK. When u open the door, the 1st thing you see is the toilet seat...... No cupboard , one of the duvets was dirty (the top little blue one) , not even a kettle for a tea in the room. Just a tiny fridge and 2 glasses, one of them was also dirty. Not even one bottle of water for the arrival day.... at least to be polite. You can listen to the next room's ppl breathe...Obviously the stuff members hardly speak English, so the communication is a bit of a struggle. Thank God i understand me, and they don't, to be fair, as I'm not that satisfied. The "pool" area is nice but is like a kids' pool size. Our air conditioning has not been working for 5 days now, and we kindly requested from the 2nd one (as we didn't want to be picky the first day and bother them.......) to check that. He literally JUST did. He didn't inform us he was coming at 15:30 lunchtime on my holidays in my room while I'm trying to have some rest... told him when he knocked the door to wait for 1' as I'm naked but he knocked harder the second time ! And just before that he was calling us from downstairs just yelling in the yard.... he was quite rude , the worst one so far as at least the people working here are not rude so far. He told us off for smoking in the room and we HAVEN'T. We are sleeping in here and it's tiny.... we only throw the roaches in the bin ( and we go in the street for a cig because we are not aloud in the yard area either and we don't want to throw the cigs on the street......) so that's where the smell comes from!!!!!!! We wouldn't have the smell if they were emptying the trash bin everyday... as for the cleaning ladies , they don't change our towels properly. It's the 5th day and they just decided to change my hand-face towel. They changed my towels once so far so that's something..... not hand soap. Only Spanish TV on. No smart TV. Only one chair in the room . AH !!!! We booked a room with two beds and the one we have is for a couple. They could have separated them at least 🤣 and last BUT NOT LEAST.... I'm locking my room's door EVERY SINGLE TIME I'm leaving and the cleaners just decide to leave it unlocked EVERY time. I was trying not to comment for so many days but I find that too rude....... sorry guys I wanted to be nicer to you but you ain't helping at all. It's not the worst place I've been but you need lots of improvement Next time you want to be rude to someone about smoking in the room , just double check and LOWER your voice please as I can use mine aswell. It seems like whoever design the place never stayed in a hotel with a partner.

It is very pretty but rooms rather small and inconvenient. We stayed in room n4 and I saw room n2 in person and both were really small. We didn’t have sufficient room for our things. Majority of our things were on the floor in suitcases. There was no counter space at the external sink (it was in the bedroom area), and no soap, although I don’t see where it could have potentially be stored.

The room also had waves of very distinct sewer smell. 🥪The breakfast was disappointing, bread was stale and no veggies.

We also had a conversation with the manager/owner over the phone to have our room changed for the last night, yet staff was not informed about it and they told us to get that handled again. We left it as is, as the this is the last thing we want to deal with on vacation.

😴If you are someone who is used to quite sleep ask for the room facing courtyard, there is a lot of occasional street noise there. It’s written that the rooms are soundproof, which is definitely not the case. The noise from the street and neighbors talking,snoring, watching TV can all be heard.

Don’t fall for Double Delux written there, as they described rooms are all same. There is nothing Delux about them, it’s just a reservation for one or two people.

🚗No parking on the street but municipality provides free parking lot next to BipBip supermarket. Getting a stop during the season might...
