Having just finished a week here with my wife and two young children (7&9). We can honestly say we've had a wonderful time here at Paloma beach. The rooms themselves are great, they were spacious and comfortable. Two large bedrooms each with their own ensuite. Both consist of a bath/shower and basin. The kitchen was more than adequate and contained all the utensils needed to prepare food and drink throughout our stay. There is a hyper Dino supermarket three or four doors down from the complex and was very competitively priced and had a good selection of home comforts and local cuisine. The rooms also had a smart TV. The pool was lovely and not too cold at the beginning of February. The staff at the complex have been nothing but lovely and accommodating. There is also no need to fret about sunbed locations as the beds themselves are hired out at €2.00 per bed and you can then place them wherever you like. The hotel was very popular with elderly people overwintering and there were friendly faces all around. One very very minor point regarding the rating on location. It really had very little impact on our holiday. But the rooms situated at the front or roadside area of the apartment had some minor disturbance from the local establishments but were mostly done by 10:30pm and the local brewery collect empties in the early hours of the morning. But they are done very quickly. Again I stress very little bother to my family and I. Bottled water was very cheap at the local supermarket, but also available from the onsite machine at €1 for five litres. The hotel is a mere five minutes walk away from many lovely bars and restaurants as well as things like mini golf and bowls. Would definitely stay here again, Paloma beach had made our first self catering holiday a success

Had a 10 day break with my wife and son in June 2023. We arrived later than planned due to flight delays but there was a security officer at the reception who greeted us, showed us to the apartment and helped with our luggage and then gave us a quick tour and showed us the essentials in the apartment such as how to use AC and unlock the balcony, then we went back to the reception for full check in the following day. I will say straight off the apartment we had was a little dated, edging of the kitchen surface coming away, door handles falling off, but nothing too bad and I appreciate that there are some renovations going on of some other apartments and for a block this size it’s not cheap to update them all so I’m sure it will happen in time. The pool was great, and never too busy, and always sun beds available to hire for €2 for the day. The pool bar was closed for the first few days we were there which was a shame but it seems we chose the dates that locals tend to holiday as well as a few bars and restaurants nearby were closed for the owners to have a holiday as well! Anyway, once the pool bar was open the food was great and the service friendly, as with all aspects of the property. Location was great, it was a bit of a walk to the beach, but we aren’t beach lovers anyway so the pool was perfect for us and there were plenty of great places to eat and drink on your doorstep. Overall a great property, the whole family loved their trip to Tenerife and we will definitely be going back, and when we decide Paloma beach will be the first place we look at.

We arrived 22 December 2018 and so far we have enjoyed Paloma Beach apartments. The accomodation is first class. We have a two bed penthouse it has two great terraces. The beds are comfortable, thought I found the pillows supplied a bit hard. Staff immediately informed provided softer alternative in ten minutes. The pool and pool bar are sheltered, bar good if you want sport with your tipple and a low cost international food offering. The location is walking distance to promenade and market. A variety of bars and restaurants are on the doorstep. Parking spaces are plentiful and free of charge. The decor is spotlessly fresh and clean, it's all white with special pieces of art and furniture breaking up otherwise blandness. The place is well furnished, two single beds, one double, the kitchen has a four place table and chairs, two exceptionally large balconies each have their own four place dining table and chairs. The area also comes with six sun lounging beds. The lounge has multiple channels TV, complimentary CD disks and DVDs or use your own! WiFi is free runs a bit too slow for me, therefore I prefer to use my own metered home allocation from my Mobile phone provide. This apartment comes with great lounge chairs and coffee table. The kitchen is well equipped big fridge, cooker & over full domestic size, toster, microwave, kettle, 4 ring hob, simply the work! Views are magnificent sit on either terrace and view the harbour and it's activities. The area is quite enabling a restful relaxing retreat. Enjoy, I think you will. TD

I have stayed in this hotel a few times now and have never had any issues, however on this occasion I encountered some confusion with my booking. I booked 5 nights, but was informed on the 4th night that I had only booked 4 nights. On the evening of my 4th night I went down to reception to discuss the situation (as I noticed a leaflet under my door advising my checkin was for the following morning). Unfortunately the lady who works on the desk in the evenings doesn't speak any English, and has no knowledge of the booking process, and so when I popped dwn to receipt discuss the situation I was surprised no one at all was available to help me. This is a major flaw and potential issue as there should always be someone on reception (out of hours) who understands the booking process in case of an emergency. If someone turned up at the hotel in the evening who had a disability or had access needs and, for example had mistakenly booked the wrong room there would be no one available to help until the following morning, all the lady advises is that any guest who has issues should come back to reception the next day at 10am. This is really risky as some situations can't wait all night. I was staying in the hotel alone and so felt very anxious. As the lady on reception cant speak any English all I could do was send an email and frustratingly then wait until the next morning to find out if my room would even be available for me to have for an extra night. |Considering I have stayed at the hotel more than once I felt disappointed that the hotel staff didn't do more to try and help me, as it was an obvious unfortunate error. I was simply advised the extra night would cost me £84 (approx) but I didn't get the impression there was any attempt to try, as a gesture of goodwill, to help me. You really need to offer a better service for issues that arise out of hours. The lady on reception at the very least should understand the booking system. |I work at the BBC and deal with complaints regularly, and so appreciate the need to try and see situations from the customers point of view.|Aside from this issue with the booking the apartment was nice and spacious, just a shame the situation with the booking marred...

We booked these apartments via Hotels.com and had a good rate as opposed to a package holiday.||We had 4 nights at the hotel, there had been some negative comments previously but we always look through rather than taking bad reviews at face value.|Our apartment 1-59 was absolutely spotless and was very modern. Had a large TV with British channels and a DVD player and Smart functions. |The kitchen was well stocked with all equipment including hob, oven, microwave, fridge freezer and kettle. ||Towels were changed once during the stay which was ample. ||There was a safe but you had to pay so we didn't bother as all shutters locked and there were gates on the doors and windows. |The bedroom was a great size with air conditioning (don't think all rooms have this though so need to check) The bed was super comfy with memory foam pillows. There were plenty of hangers and storage too. ||The facilities included a decent sized pool which appeared to be temperature controlled with a hot tub. One of the negative reviews we read was that of having to pay €2 for a sunbed. We thought this worked well as you couldn't get the beds until 10am and stopped the typical selfish hogging the beds. The also hired parasols for €2 and there were a few Cabanas for €15 a day. The onsite bar/restaurant was independently owned and was reasonably priced , we had breakfast twice which was reasonably good and a pizza 🍕 which was probably the worst id tasted. There was a good selection of drinks reasonably priced they also showed Sky sports. The place closes at 7pm however there were several bars outside the apartments open until late. There were a lot of bad reviews about how strict the apartments were on noise. We had the opposite where people were coming back late at night and making noise. We were also awoken by a dog continually barking from one of the residential apartments early in the morning. Overall a great place to stay OUTSIDE of the main area of Los...
