The Market Tavern — Restaurant in Arona

Came across this place on a Sunday. Some tables reserved because of Sunday roasts, but the gentleman sorted us a table (for 5). We didn't even fancy a Sunday roast, but whilst browsing the menu, we saw other people's Sunday roasts and they looked delicious. We ended up having the combo Sunday roast (lamb, chicken, beef) and it was absolutely delicious. The nicest thing I've ever eaten anywhere on any holiday. Perfect. We were all blown away. Not only that, though, the staff were awesome. So on the ball and attentive. Polite. The place was so clean. Toilets were even spotless. I visited this pub/resteraunt a few years ago when it was just ok. A new owner by the name of Alex has now taken charge by purchasing it. What a turn around I have seen. He and his staff works so hard it has to be now one of the best in the Arona area of Los Christianos. The breakfast has to be the best in the area,due to an excellent chef,and the evening entertainment is brill. Absolutely loved coming to The Market Tavern! The staff were super friendly and made us feel welcome straight away. Great atmosphere — relaxed, lively, and ideal whether you’re grabbing a drink or sitting down for a proper meal.

We came here for breakfast every morning and everything was spot on, really tasty food. Good range of drinks too. Karaoke nights on an evening with Maggsy was always banging.
