The aparthotel is close to plaza espanya which has great links to the airport and other notable places such as the rambla, Montserrat and the Sagrada Familia. There is a condis (supermarket) nearby that has a few essentials but if you require a bigger store there is a mercadona is the arenas (plaza espanya) The hotel does make 2 pre checks on your account beforehand so make sure when booking you have a night stays worth in your account. The room itself was very nice, it was difficult having 2 single beds as a couple it was annoying, but the beds felt fine to me. The tv was fine but couldn’t change language on TV like other hotels in Barcelona. The kitchen was well equipped with a couple of pans, utensils, plates and bowls. Also with a kettle, 2 hob stove top and a small fridge. Our fridge was leaking and did smell and our kitchen did have multiple flies inside but for a short stay the kitchen worked well. We didn’t ask to change rooms due to the shortness of our visit. The bathroom was large with shower, toilet and sink. The weren’t any other amenities included like a toiletries so do bring it yourself or go to the local shop. There is an outdoor space and a pool located upstairs, it is small but it does the trick. There was some noise coming from other rooms playing music in the morning and there is not a lot of light coming into the hotel so if you need natural light this wouldn’t be the best place for you. The staff were nice and did help when asked band were able to help without requests. Overall the aparthotel was what I needed at the time and as someone who frequents Barcelona every month this was a nice hotel for what I needed and I would visit again

Be aware that about 50% of the rooms in this hotel are below or on street level. It makes you feel as if cars and people drive through your bedroom. Furthermore there is no direct daylight for these rooms as they are behind some sort of screen to shield the rooms from the street or are in the basement (see pictures). Also worth mentioning that the beds are rock hard, towels stained, staff didn’t pay too much attention on the cleaning beyond mopping the floor and the AC blows a nice breeze of mold through the air. We booked this place due to its close proximity to the exhibition center and the nice terrace advertised. Unfortunately our room and terrace was below street level and the noise from the street was intolerable. Management was “nice enough” to give us a different, much smaller room without a balcony or terrace. We were offered to get a room with balcony next day but had to turn it down due to heavy smokers staying in the room before. Not surprising as the people staying at the hotel weren’t very considerate with other guests. Highlight was getting farted at by some folks in the hotel lobby. But the real cherry on top of the cake during our visit was a water leakage in the bathroom from the apartment above the hotel. Eventually we got a 25% discount for 2/3 nights. Nice gesture but the place is a s… hole.

One of the best places to stay in Barcelona when it comes to value for money. The rooms are spacious, well equipped and if you are someone who is planning to rent a car while you are here, you can make use of their free parking facilities which is otherwise quite a costly and troublesome affair. Note that you need to book through their website for the free parking or else you will need to pay for it. They offer free WiFi and locker facilities too on the day of checkout or check in. Just a 10 minutes walk to Plaza Espanya Station and Las Arenas mall. Plenty of connectivity, shopping and food options from here. The room is well equipped, very well maintained and neat. You get a hair dryer, dispensers for handwash, body wash and shampoo as well as the icing on the cake, a heated towel rack with 2 sets of hand and bath towels. The kitchen comes with a microwave, hot stove and a sink. You also get a garbage can and 2 mini bottles of waterm Had stayed here back in 2015 and now again in 2017. Service is still amazing and they have maintained the property well. Quite an enjoyable experience and would definitely recommend it.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 3 nights in October 16 and it was a very enjoyable stay.

We picked this place because of its modern decor and fair pricing. We chose to pay more for breakfast included but we were very disappointed by the breakfast. It was mostly pastry which I cannot eat a lot of because I suffer from IBS and pastry is a trigger. The half of a pastry I tried tasted like it had been out for a while and there wasn't much else that we would have eaten. We went to breakfast on the first morning and then made alternativr arrangements for the remainder of the holiday. I should have made a complaint and asked for a refund but I totally forgot with how busy we were throughout the holiday.

The room itself was lovely and spotlessly clean. A very comfortable stay.

The location is a little out of the way of the city itself but is only about a 10 minute walk from the nearest metro and very easy to get to.

There is a shopping centre over the road from the metro station which has some good food outlets and shops. The magic fountain is also about a 5 minute walk from the metro and again easy to find.

The metro is very efficient, runs extremely frequently and is very easy to navigate. If you are wasting to explore a lot then a T10, T20 or T50 card would be beneficial as this allows the number of journeys listed. In the 3 days we were there I think we took about 40 journeys between us.

There is a bus that goes directly to the airport near the metro stop and is a reasonble price.

Some of our holiday highlights were the gothic quatre, the markets and RO. MAGNA, a little (literally but give it a go) down near the gothic quatre, great food and service. La Sagrada de Familia, the aquarium and gaudi Park (Park guell)

Overall an enjoyable stay apart from the breakfast. We would definitely stay here again because of the price but without the...

We chose this hotel, a more expensive option, due to the rooftop pool. I asked before booking if the pool would be open when we visited in April. It was confirmed that it was certainly open. I was disappointed when we arrived to find it was not open and was being refurbished. The hotel have refused a partial refund despite saying it was open which feels unreasonable. The safe in the room was not working when we arrived. I was told that the staff were busy with lots of jobs, I was pleased that it had been sorted when we returned from a full day out. I think reception staff attitudes could be more friendly to guests, it would be nice to be more polite, say hello, and how can I help? One morning I was just met with a look! The rooms not cleaned in our 5 night stay we asked for clean towels and extra loo roll which we were provided. The room was spacious we appreciated the two bedrooms and sofa bed in lounge. Kitchen was equipped with pots pans and there was also an ironing board and iron in the cupboard. It would be great to have hooks in bathroom for towels as nowhere to hang anything. Another mirror other than the single room wardrobe and bathroom mirror would be good. But this is because four girls trying to get ready meant was quite tricky. Balcony was big with a clothes maiden. The area was quiet and no problem sleeping well. The location was 5/6 min walk to metro station. We bought the multi journey cards and got around easily from the station. If you can use the tube in London you won’t have any issues here everything is well signed, so much easier cheaper and quicker than the bus. Two days of our stay we used the tourist bus which seemed to be having some problems, lots of furious customers at bus stops waiting for buses that were at capacity. I think some roadworks/demonstrations...

We have just arrived home after a wonderful trip to Barcelona! We stayed at the BCN Montjuic as a family of 2 adults and 2 children (aged 9 & 7) we had a family room. After arriving at the airport we took a taxi to the hotel (around 24 euros) and arrived to a very warm welcome from the reception team, check in was efficient and we went to our lovely family room, the room itself has everything you need and it’s extremely clean. We had a sofa bed for the two children and two single beds together for the adults, the beds were very comfortable with crisp white bedsheets and comfortable pillows, there was a small kitchen area with a fridge and a very modern and clean bathroom with fluffy white towels. The air conditioning was also very efficient, the only downside (which was my mistake) is I wished I had booked a balcony. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful, served in the lovely breakfast room, plenty of fresh options, always topped up and a different variety each day, the breakfast staff worked very hard and were lovely and friendly. The hotel also had a rooftop pool and a outside area with seating but we found this was closed early (around 10pm each night) the only downside for the hotel for us is there was no bar, so after a long day exploring the city there was no where to get a cold drink. The hotel itself is a 10 minute walk to the local metro and you can pick up the hop on hop off tour bus again a 10 minute walk from the hotel (which I thoroughly recommend) we decided on the way back to the airport to take the underground and we wished we had just taken a taxi as it’s quite a way on the underground and costs just as much and a taxi would of been easier. Thank you for a...
