Fira de Barcelona — Attraction in Barcelona

I went there to have both my covid vaccinations, and both times it was well organised and very quickly done. The longest bit was the one mile walk approximately around the place to keep people moving, after that it was a very quick process. Firstly I had to go to a booth and show my ID plus health card, which took about a minute, I was then directed to go to another area, and as I walked in told to wait outside another booth, which was curtained off and where I would receive my vaccination. I was waiting for about a minute, no more, then invited inside, where I gave my health card to one person who registered the fact I'd been vacinnated, while another one carried it out, which was totally painless. The first one I waited at the place for 15 minutes after the injection in case of any adverse effects, there was none, so after having the second dose I left...

It’s old and grand, and a bit dilapidated (or shabby chique maybe?). We had 5000 people through the gates, which was cool. But the highlight was Allen the security guard who was a legend. Lowlight are the toilets- ye gods man! UPGRADE THEM. See the picture below though - natural light in a conference hall is a vibe. No dingy conference caverns here. Entrance for set up is round the back by a infant school - a bit odd, especially as our event was about gambling - not that kid friendly!

Barcelona Fira Montjuic Hall of Conferences is a very large space. Very attractive and beautiful structure it has for sure.. has been there for decades and it is one of the most important in Europe. It hosts many exhibitions of various kinds where companies showcase their products. The building is a nice architectural sight. The building is next to the Magic Fountain and the Art Museum and visitors are thus given the chance to admire several sights within easy walking distance of each other.
