Cala Sant Francesc is an absolute gem of a beach, located just outside of Blanes (which, honestly, we didn’t like at all—but this beach more than made up for it!). It’s truly one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve been to in Spain.
The water is crystal clear, and the surrounding landscape is stunning. Instead of sand, the beach is covered with very fine pebbles, so I highly recommend bringing water shoes for comfort.
There’s a charming little path along the coast, and although the beach itself isn’t very large, it’s easily accessible by car—which is both a plus and a minus, since it can get quite crowded, even on weekdays.

You can hike right of left to other places. In the right side of the cove, there is a smaller baby cove, where the water is just amazing and...
