Hotel Bahía — Hotel in Gijón

After check in I realise bedroom door 110 does not lock. The receptionist instead of apologising says "its not my fault" and keeps me waiting for 45 minutes. She only offers me another bedroom when I state that I can't leave the bedroom door open and that I am going to report it to Booking com.||Upon check out the safe in room 107 does not open despite I enter the correct code (green light) leaving all my valuables trapped inside. I receive no apology from another receptionist who fails to open the faulty safe with the master key. She keeps me waiting for 45 minutes until the owner arrives and opens the faulty safe with a loud bang. Instead of apologising for all the incovenience caused he says they have good customer ratings. Shocking and appalling customer service & very dated, faulty facilities.||Puerta de la habitación 110 no cierra con llave y caja fuerte de la 107 está defectuosa, dejando los objetos de valor atrapados dentro. Atención al cliente muy deficiente. ||Tras hacer el check in en la habitación 110 compruebo que la puerta no cierra. La recepcionista no consigue arreglarla y me dice que "no es su culpa". No me ofrece otra habitación hasta que pasados 45 minutos le digo que no me puedo marchar dejando la puerta abierta y que si no me ofrece otra habitación tendré que reclamar a Booking.com||La mañana del check out la caja fuerte de la habitación 107 se queda atrancada a pesar de introducir el codigo correcto (luz verde) dejando atrapados dentro mis objetos de valor. Otra recepcionista, que tampoco se disculpa, intenta abrir la caja fuerte con la llave maestra pero no lo consigue. Me tienen 45 minutos esperando hasta que llega el dueño y abre la caja fuerte de un brusco golpe. En lugar de disculparse por todo lo sucedido me dice que tienen buenas reseñas. |Terrible y estresante...

Located in a residential area (about 10 mins walk to centre) this is a nice hotel with very pleasant staff. The room I had was a good size, powerful shower, very clean. Reasonable value at 70-75 euros per night (via 3rd party site).
