Apart Hotel Banús Lodge — Hotel in Marbella

What an amazing stay! Where do I start… from the moment I stepped foot at Banus Lodge I have never felt so welcome and so at home in my life. I have travelled to many places and Lisa and Werner were the most kindest, genuine, down to earth people I have ever met on my travels. As two girls on holiday in Marbella, they felt like our second parents, always making sure we were ok and if there was anything we needed letting us know they would always be there - which meant a lot to us. I have never felt so safe abroad in all my years of going on girls holidays! The rooms are lovely and clean, the pool area is gorgeous and there is a well stocked bar. We got tickets for a pool party and our taxi didn’t arrive so Werner kindly drove us; everyday Lisa would always check if we had a good day/night and want to listen to what we’d been up too! We are Swiss and decided this time to book our accommodation not in a typical hotel complex but at Banús Lodge. This way we were very independent, prepared our own breakfast and discovered every day new restaurants nearby. Banús Lodge is managed by the couple Anne and Daniel. They run the bungalow urbanization in a very organized way. Whenever we had questions or wishes, Anne and Daniel were there to help. The complex is well taken care of, clean, the size of the swimming pool perfect and the bungalows modernly furnished and quiet. This is a little oasis of a place! The hosts Daniel and Anne were so friendly and helpful and great to chat to if you fancied it. There is a well stocked honesty bar with everything you could want when hanging out by the pool, which is a really nice pool for a dip and to relax by. It’s conveniently located close to the beach, Puerto Banus, and San Pedro, it’s easy access to get on the main road if you’ve hired a car like we did.
