Would fully recommend this beach club to anyone who is coming to Marbella. We were a group of 9 girls on a hen do. We found it to be great value for money and a perfect experience. We paid 120⬠(Ā£100) each for a pool single bed, and that included 50⬠to spend on food and drink while we were there. It opens at 11am and closes at 7pm. We got there a few minutes before opening time on a Sunday and got our beds next to the pool. They donāt allow any food or drink which is fair enough. They do check bags so no point trying to sneak anything in youāll just have to throw it out. I would recommend drinking plenty water before going in to save a bit of cash. They take a credit card on arrival which is fair enough so that when you have gone through your credits there is a charge at the end which you choose which card to pay with. we got a free small bottle of water and a small portion of fruit on arrival as well as a towel each. This was a perfect touch. The staff were very attentive and polite. The cocktails are some of the best weād tried. The food is absolutely delicious, Asian themed. Caters for every allergy/preference and is very clear about ingredients on the menu. We booked a table at the restaurant in advance which we were pleased of. The music is quite loud which is great further into the day but I would have liked to have brought small ear defenders just as we were right next to speakers, might have been fine elsewhere, and like I say it was a perfect volume later into the day. I would recommend the pool single beds as they are right beside the main pool really in the hub of it all. The swim up to the bar beds are in a more secluded part for more privacy. I guess itās a preference. The place was very very clean, and very secure. Security guards on all doors. The sax was playing at some moments through the day which was very enjoyable. You can access the beach which is a bit underwhelming but a short walk away. We found there to be ample street parking a few meters from the entrance. There was a mixed demographic, a mixture of old and young people, with all body types, but mainly young gym bods which could make one feel a bit out of place, but as I say a fair mix of people. All in all, I could not fault this place at all, for anything. We were on a hen do and it was perfect for that but also a perfect place to come with a friend group. If there are any bad reviews on here it will just be from people not going by the rules- and the rules are fair and clearly laid out: no food or drink allowed, no entrance to pool unless you have paid for a bed. Itās for the enjoyment of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI rarely send bad reviews however I feel I have to this time as me and my 5 girlfriends were so looking forward to this experience.. This was our first trip to Marbella so wanted to treat ourselves to something sophisticated but lively. We booked 3 swim up beds for 6 of us costing ā¬240 per bed with ā¬100 of that to be used against food and drink. From the pictures online the beds look as though they are full sized with option of shade on the edge of the pool.. When we were shown our beds we were sorely disappointed.. There are 6 double seat noy beds and 1tripple that you can only sit on (not lie down) in fact some were so small that you were felt very squashed.. We immediately noticed that there was only 1 sun parasol (more like a sail that couldn't be moved or angled) and because of the time of day was not shading even the 1 bed it was situated behind. We asked to be moved and was meet with don't worry your waiter will sort out more shade for you. When our waiter arrived he looked at us confused as he said there was no extra sun shades and didn't understand why we was told that and thinking about it there was no room to situate any due to a walkway behind us. We asked again to move and was told there was no space! With the price you pay you expect to have the option of shade. Most of us ended up sitting in a shaded area to avoid getting burnt as we'd planned to spend the whole day there and tried to make the most of it.. The 2nd thing that we was dissappointed with was the pricing. Most of the drinks on the menu were lower than what we was charged. We complained but no refunds we're issued. To avoid causing a scene and spoiling our last day of the holiday we decided to email the club once home. Once home and looking at the receipts we also realised that not only did we have a service charge on each round of drinks we also was charged service charge on the price of the beds even though we'd paid online! After sending 5 emails back and forth to the club i was eventually told that i should have requested shade at the time of the booking and that price differences could not be rectified after leaving the club! There was no explanation as to why we were charged an extra ā¬42 for the unconfortable beds! The only possitive i can say is that the music was good and the food lovely.. We will not be recommending this club...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI donāt usually post bad reviews, but I genuinely feel this might help others avoid an unpleasant experience.
La Sala by the Beach is all image, no substance ā overpriced, chaotic, and poorly managed.
We paid ā¬80 for two sunbeds ā and thatās just for the beds. Towels are an extra ā¬10 each, which is shocking given the poor quality of service. For a supposedly premium beach club in Marbella, the experience was anything but.
From the start, everything was disorganized. You queue under the sun just to get a wristband, and the man in charge of seating is openly rude, speaking to guests with no respect. We had to chase staff to access the sunbeds we had already paid for online, and they still looked at us suspiciously, double-checking repeatedly as if we were trying to cheat the system.
Inside, service was a mess. It took ages to get a menu, and when our food arrived, it came without cutlery. When we asked for it, we were ignored. Even worse, multiple staff came to charge us for the same bill, showing no communication or coordination between them.
The atmosphere is anything but relaxing. The staff seem focused solely on a rowdy party crowd, and everyone else feels like an afterthought. Street vendors regularly walk through the beach area trying to sell you things ā and no one from the staff stops them. We didnāt feel safe leaving our belongings unattended.
To make things worse, I saw a father and son ā who had clearly booked two sunbeds ā get split up because a larger group took over the space. Again, no one intervened. The pool was packed and dirty, and the beach view was ruined by a giant floating water park directly in front.
To be fair, the music was good and the food not bad, but itās severely overpriced for the chaos and lack of professionalism.
La Sala behaves like being fully booked and located in Marbella gives them a free pass to offer subpar service. But thatās no excuse. We left early and found a far better spot elsewhere.
If youāre looking for a quality, relaxing beach club experience ā this isnāt it. Save your...
