We just finished the Lighthouse Way and had Bela Muxia reserved in advance. The hostel is very modern and it feels very clean and has wide open spaces and many areas to sit and read/relax. Staff were friendly and gave us a quick tour. Kitchen area was spacious and they always have soup on hand for free. Washing machines (2) and 1 drier really came in handy. That room also has areas to hang clothes to dry. ||the guest room we had (private) was very spacious and I have to say the bathroom was the best I experienced while in Spain. Wonderful tub with jets, large vanity/mirror and good lighting. Outdoor patio space was wonderful. ||Location was very good - just a block off of main street with restaurants and not far from grocery store. The town is easy to walk around as it is quite small and the hotel is situated...

I came here with a group of seven musicians, all Pilgrims traveling the camino and writing songs inspired by the camino with the project, Songs of Santiago. We stayed here for two nights. Angel and Celia were so incredibly warm and hospitable. We stayed in one of the apartments on the top floor and also rented some other private rooms. On the second day, we performed a concert in the upstairs salon/living room. The albergue promoted the event very actively, invited a number of local people from the town and pilgrims from neighboring albergues, and were an integral part of making the performance a success. Super well equipped kitchen and laundry room as well. they also provided us our Muxianas, or certificates of completion for this portion of the camino Thank you to everyone at Bela Muxía. Til...

We have had a double room for 2 nights as a rest is needed after walking 72km in 2 days and one of the days rained heavy winds was so windy I was being blown away. When we finally arrived at Muxia we were exhausted. Angel at reception showed us our room on the first floor with a wonderful view.He allowed us to shower and relax and when we were ready went to reception to check in. This was so appreciated!! The hotel is spotless the communal kitchen well fitted out. Actually the best I have seen on the whole Camino. The laundry room is large and has 2 washing machines and a dryer. Everything about this experience has been magic. If I ever get to visit Muxia again i would stay here. 10 out...

One of the best albergues I stayed in the whole camino. Everything is very clean, the hosts are very friendly and willing to help you with what you need. Good wifi connection. Unlike most albergues in muxia and Finistère they don't kick you out of the building during the cleaning hours (which happens in other albergues even if it is raining) since they have a big living room upstairs where you can spend your time while they do their thing. They even cooked soup for free for everyone and it was delicious! I would definitely recommend staying here.
