I apologize, but I did not enjoy my stay at all. For starters, the food was mediocre and lacking at best. There was practically no variety, and it was extremely difficult to pick anything to eat. Not only that, but the food that they DID have, was not that good at all. Second of all,the staff was very rude,at least in my experience. They replied sarcastically when you asked them for something, and they were simply not nice. I understand that it's most likely not their fault, since they're probably stressed and understaffed, but still,it shouldn't be taken out on the inhabitants. Another thing is that the swimming pool is practically a warzone. People leave their towels there, leave for breakfast, and then go back to the pool, essentially robbing other guests of their spot at the pool. Not only that, but I fee like there's too little spots at the pool. The hotel is quite big,and I expected the swimming pool to match the size of the hotel, but I was extremely dissapointed by how small it was and how little spots they were (And how entitled people were). Also, the so-called "gym" was not a gym at all. As soon as there's 3 people there,it gets crammy and crowded and it becomes impossible to do anything at all. Not only that, but there's very little variety when it comes to gym materials, which is dissapointing. Another thing worth pointing out is that it is not an economically smart choice. You have to pay for the towels, the so called "Beach spots discount" is non existent...List could go on. And don't even get me started on the elevators. Me and my family had to wait for minutes and minutes to get an elevator to open. And many times it was already occupied. I stayed in the 6th floor, mind you,so stairs weren't really an option. The people in charge of cleaning the hotel were also extremely noisy. I'd hear loud bangs and booms throughout the day multiple times.
I will say, however, that the view was splendidly beautiful, and the hotel was quite close to ocean, which was really nice. Another thing is that if you have very young kids, this hotel is really good, since the entertainment is very well made and very creative, and it keeps kids contempt. While my family and I (Two adults and me,a teenager) obviously didn't benefit from the child entertainment,I do believe that a family with small kids would really enjoy the entertainment and activities...
Read moreAwful customer experience overall. A small percentage of the staff barely speak English and most of them do not speak any english. We were handed keycards that did not work, not once, but two times! The hotel is huge and the elevators are near the reception. Immagine going to the 5th floor walking 200 meters to reach a room you cannot open and than return to get other cards and than repeat the whle process because the 2nd set of cards also do no work. A separate card was handed to us to open the garage. There are very strict rules to follow to enter the huge buffet-restaurant, you have to pre-book your time slot and wait in a huge line within a 15 minutes timeframe, otherwhise you will not be admitted. The Hotel gives you another cardboard card that you always need to carry with you at all times, even at the pool, otherwhise you cannot access any of the hotel services like get drinks from one of their bars. They also do not allow you to go get a drink in your shorts, so every time you need a drink you have to get dressed even if you are wet. Upon entering the restaurant and also upon leaving the restaurant as well as at the Spa you need to carry a cardboard card. It is just absurd! On top of all this the internet is mostly not working. One of the Bed's feet broke and i fell on the floor. The chat bot was not answering because of the internet not wprking and i was forced to call the reception in roaming incurring additional costs, or of course I had the option to walk the 200 meters to the elevator and go down to the reception and then come back again. Just awful! POST EDIT:
3 Handyman have worked about 30 min to reinforce the bed, they didn't even take the sheets off and the left the bed that whiped the floor just as everything was back to...
