Had a fantastic visit and stay! The town it is located in, is beautiful and has a small town charm. Not too busy but enough going on and enough tapas bars and restaurants for a good time. We loved our room which had great facilities, the breakfast was delicious and the terrace and view were amazing! Could just sip wine and view the vineyards! And best of all was the hospitality, owner and staff were so friendly and helpful. I would stay here again and recommend it to all!

Spectacular view from an equally elegant hotel. The owner has converted this old Spanish house into a wonderful retreat of a hotel. San Vincente is a little hidden gem, as is this hotel. We stayed in the room with the terrace and ended up sitting there with a bottle of wine on several occasions (bought from the honesty bar downstairs). Would highly recommend both this hotel and San Vincente for a true Spanish village experience.

The location of Casona makes this place exceptional! Overlooking some of the local wineries, catching a sunrise or sunset, and having dinner with the locals on the plaza, made this the perfect location and the best experience!

We spent an excellent 3 night stay here. A quality boutique hotel with a very attentive hostess ( Mayang)||We are nice sized room overlooking the vineyards. It was very quiet and very clean. Comfortable bed. Huge walkin shower with good water pressure. A mini fridge and a safe would be nice additions but their lack in no way diminished the pleasure of our stay.||The hotel has been beautifully refurbished...it was originally a house in Mayangs family. Its full of old books and furniture, all tastefully displayed. Lots of private sitting areas. A large and well stocked honour bar. Great breakfast...orange juice, varied selection of fresh local fruits, cold meats, cheese, pastries and best coffee we have had in 3 weeks in Spain.||Parking can be reserved in area just below hotel. A bit tricky to get out of and is best to have two people involved ..one to watch for oncoming traffic.||Hotel is in great location...two minute walk to main square, 15 minutes to castle and the bars, restaurants (4) and several bodegas are easily reached on foot.||Mayang is a warm, welcoming host and readily provided recommendations on what to do and see in the area.||If you want a quality stay in the Riojo region, this is it...highly...

This hotel is located in the small village of San Vicente de la Sonsierra in the heart of the Rioja wine district. We had booked two rooms for us and our adult daughter. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well furnished with restored antique period pieces. The common areas were comfortable and welcoming and the staff attentive and helpful. We especially liked the kitchen (canteen) area where you could help yourself to cold drinks, wine, beer or spirits. Breakfast was a real treat with local meats and cheeses, yogurt and breads served elegantly on beautiful china in a room filled with gorgeous antiques. And I remember the white tablecloths and antique coffee service that made breakfast a memory.||||Our room overlooked a main village street where locals would gather for coffee and drinks in the evening. It was a short walk to the main square and restaurants, bars and shopping. A short distance away is the village of Abalos where we visited the winery Solana de Ramirez to taste excellent wine and dine in their new restaurant (not to be missed). ||||Overall, this was one of the best hotels on our two week trip through...
