My first impression on arrival was that the hotel seemed to be in a fairly built up town area of San Antonio which is true in part. However, once inside it quickly became clear that it was only when entering and exiting the hotel that this was evident.||We were checked in most efficiently by the friendly reception staff and given the key cards to our room which was a standard street view balcony. This never bothered us at all as it was just 2 mates on a break and it was a fairly quiet street anyhow. The rooms were large and beautifully decorated with sofa and large flat screen TV. The beds and pillows were one of the most comfiest I've slept on! Air Con is also included but we never really needed it given it was late May/early June.|There is also a free safety deposit box and ample wardrobe and drawer space.|Bathroom was spotless.||We then went for a stroll around the pool area and it was then apparent that we were stopping somewhere quite special. A beautiful pool area with quality wide sun loungers with thick comfortable cushions. Not your average plastic or mesh covered ones.|Comfortable seating and shading is also in the pool area and the bar close by. You can go through a gate at the rear of the hotel and join the main walkway along the beach/rocks where one way will take you towards the Buddah Bar and the other way towards Mambo. The harbour is about a 20 min walk along the path.||We ventured up to the roof top as I was informed there was also an area there with a bar.|I was blown away with what greeted me. Another beautiful area with lots of comfy sun loungers and an infinity pool with amazing views over the bay. A perfect spot to view the famous San An sunset. This was where we spent the majority of our days as it was so relaxing.||Food was fantastic. We stayed B&B only but there was a great selection of food and of high quality brands. Proper bacon and they also serve omelette. There was even Oyster if that's your thing, but I swerved that 8am in the morning after a night on the town!||All In all, I can't wait to stay here again and hopefully bring my wife out next time, as I know she would love the hotel and it's surroundings even if the night scene further on down towards the Port is not her thing!|We'll definitely be booking a sea view to enhance our...
Read moreThis is an improved 3 stars. Definitely not 4stars but they surely scored extra points for facilities and having a spa. ||- Nr#1 issue is that beds are horrible. We get twin beds instead of one large bed. Big hole between the two mattresses. As a couple, you cannot have any romantic time any time of night and end up sleeping like two students on two separate beds with each having its own duvet. Mattresses donât have any minimum comfort standard of a 3 or 4 stars. Happy when we left to go back home to our normal comfy bed and sleep well again |We will never come back to this hotel due the terrible beds. |- no bathroom amenities: no paper tissue, no glasses (not even plastic), no lotion, of course no slippers nor bathrobe, shampoo dispenser empty for 4 days.. |- no nespresso machine. Only a boiler and soluble coffee. No spoons or anything, but you can nicely bring stuff upstairs from the restaurant |- minibar is empty but at least you can store your own things. There is a small supermarket across the street. |- Breakfast is average quality. Yes really huge variety of choice but all croissants are industrials, poor quality. Jam in large plastic containers (basic quality). Orange juice is a watery sugary liquid |- All large beds (cabana style) anlong one side of the pool, with the sea view, are marked as âreservedâ. The hotel hopes someone will pay for it, which never happened when I was there. So all these beds remain empty the whole day, while clients cramp up on the remaining sun beds. ||Positives: |- large terraces with a sofa and large rooms|- beautiful sea view from the rooms|- great location near Cafe Mambo and many other boardwalks restaurant. There is a tiny beach and an is ice-cream store around the corner of the pool. |- rooftop pool is huge (very long) and really beautiful. Awesome view. Lots of beds on the rooftop although they are all...
Read moreJust returned home from a 5 night stay at Blau parc and have amazing memories from our trip.||Location of hotel was perfect, everything was within walking distance but hotel was in a quite picturesque area.||The hotel should be rated 5 stars as it was amazing in every way, hotel staff were brilliant nothing was too much trouble and they always were so happy to help with anything we needed.||It was my wifeâs birthday while we were there and they arranged balloons in the room for when we arrived and a birthday cake at breakfast on her birthday and all sang happy birthday. ||The hotel was so clean everywhere and rooms were fantastic, we had a superior junior suite with sea view, beds and pillows were so comfy.||The hotel pools were both good but we preferred the roof top infinity pool as you had a view over the bay.||Breakfast was really good with such a large variety, we also enjoyed having lunch on the roof most days.||I would like to give a special mention to a lovely lady on reception who went above and beyond to make our stay so memorable but unfortunately didnât get her name.||We will definitely be...
