Residència Universitària Roberto de Nobili — Hotel in Sant Cugat del Vallès

The residence is located, conveniently, on the ESADE campus, making it a very attractive choice for mainly first year students. However, some important details made my stay at the Resa extremely disappointing.

To start off, the rooms are overall in a bad condition. Bathrooms were very very poor, with rotting spots and dirty stains all around. The bedroom itself seems alright, however the Residence charges tenants insane amounts for painting the rooms yearly, which was not visible at all. This is a shared opinion. So overall, a very below par room (for a very above par price).

Furthermore, if you consider staying at this residence, make sure you are prepared for invoices being thrown your way at any time (on top of the already relatively high cost of the residence rooms, especially when considering the remote location). The management is, conveniently for them, very very unclear about these costs, as they were with many things throughout my 3 quarters living there. For example, I had bought/brought my own covers and bedsheets as well as towels, however they still felt it necessary to keep money from my deposit for 'Textiles'.

These are only a few of the critical points that could be mentioned (speaker gone missing, malfunctions all around, etc).

To conclude, if you really need/want to live on campus at any cost, consider this your 'best' opportunity. However, if you are considering moving in somewhere in Barcelona, whether residence or apartment, I highly recommend it. Save yourself the hassle of having to deal with all...

I was staying here due to the university and the room was alright and clean but even though it had a kitchen there was nothing to clean my dishes with no soap or brush or anything (I was staying only for a few weeks as were some others), when I asked for more toilet paper as only a half was left when I arrived, they told me "Fine, here you go but we also got supermarkets around here". I had no comment to that.. it costs around 1k a week and they can't even supply toilet paper? Additionally when I accidentally left my card the room, I went to the reception to get a 2nd card which I told them I would bring back in literally 5 minutes as I did not loose my main card I know where on the table I left it but yet they charged me for a replacement card I would use for like 2 minutes and could have brought it back directly.
