Bon Sol Prestige — Hotel in Sant Josep de sa Talaia

An amazing place in case you chose to spend your vacation in Ibiza and you are looking for a hotel. Although the hotel is not new, it is in very good condition, spacious and clean, equipped with everything you need.

It is located in the center of the tourist town, 20 minutes from Ibiza town by bus, 10 minutes from Platja d'en Bossa, and with several clubs and restaurants right around it.

The room (at the end) is spacious, equipped with an entrance hall, a mini kitchen, bathroom and balcony. In the hall there is a spacious wardrobe with a safe.

The bathroom is spacious, equipped with a bathtub, hairdryer, large mirror, shower gel and towels (for body, face and hands).

Although the kitchen is small, it is equipped with the necessary things - sink, electric stove, electric kettle, plates (2 of 4 dishes each), glasses (2 of 2 dishes each), 2 coffee cups, saucepan, bowl, cutlery (for 3 people), a wiper, toaster, microwave oven, capsule coffee machine and refrigerator. But apart from those listed, there is nothing left - not even sponges and detergents for washing dishes, salt and pepper or oil. If you want to cook something, you will have to buy them unfortunately.

The room, as I mentioned above, is large and in addition to the beds (which are ok) it also has a table and 3 chairs, a cupboard and a mirror, a TV that only shows Spanish programs and that cannot be connected to the Internet, 2 bedside tables and a telephone (I don't even know if it works). The lighting is ok, although there is no chandelier in the room. It's just that the bulbs are of different mixed colors - some have warmer colors, while others have cooler colors.

The balcony offers a wonderful view into the hotel green garden with palm and lemon trees where there are 2 swimming pools (for adults and children), the restaurant on the premises of the hotel - El Limonero (a good restaurant with very nice staff and wonderful dishes) - and the tennis stadium. In fact there are 2 tennis stadiums and the access is free. The rackets and balls also offer them free of charge. Trainings are usually held on the stadium in front of the hotel and access can be restricted, and the second stadium (the one on the right side of the hotel) is only available to tourists, it does not require a reservation, and if it is free you can request to play.

If necessary, they clean the room if you ask, and change your towels - very satisfied.

We booked this hotel based on the very positive reviews, but unfortunately our experience was far from what we expected for a 4-star property. The room had outdated furniture, the beds kept sliding apart, and despite leaving the sign for cleaning, housekeeping never actually cleaned the room – they would just drop off a few towels. The small kitchenette was poorly maintained: turning on the toaster caused a power outage, and the lights in the hallway didn’t even work. The in-room coffee machine could only be used with capsules sold at reception for €3 each, which is unacceptable since coffee and tea are usually complimentary in 4-star hotels. Breakfast was à la carte with only a few very basic dishes, and the fruit selection was, to say the least, laughable. Considering that the price of accommodation was absolutely not low – in fact far too high for what you actually get – the overall value for money is extremely disappointing. The staff also left a poor impression. They seemed untrained and uninterested in communicating with guests. I sincerely hope this feedback helps the management improve their service in the future, because at the moment the hotel does not meet the standards it...

This was a pleasant experience. The gentleman from the reception was kind and with a positive vibe, actually it reminded me of a good friend of mine. The check in was smooth and quick. In our opinion the room is amazing. Fridge, coffee machine, a small kitchen side, with an electric cooker. Large bed and a comfortable one. The bathroom is clean and has everything you need, even toothbrushes. The view from our balcony is great, too, pointing on the front of the hotel overall is a great experience. Things to point: friendly staff, clean room and bathroom, the room smells nice, or at least at nothing odd, quiet area. Overall...
