BLUESEA Es Bolero — Hotel in Santanyí

We were not happy at all with our stay at bolero. It is the apartment part of the martha club hotel and in our room everything was very old, badly fixed or didn’t work at all. Air condition did not work in the rooms, but there were some outside our bedroom so that at night it was hard to fall asleep. We had to ask for the remote control for our tv, the light in one of the rooms did not work, the fridge did not cool well, we didn’t have soap in the bathroom and so on…

We talked to reception about it and they offered us another room, which when looking it up on booking was €25 cheaper per night than the apartment we had originally booked and already paid for, but they still wanted us to pay a supplement to move there… We finally did not move, because we didn’t want to pay any more money than we already did.

Also they filter the water in a hotel with salt, so be prepared to brush your teeth and shower with salty water.

The location was nice, the reception tried, but the stay wasn’t what we expected. Es Bolero is definitely not worth the money we paid. We would not...

Amazing location. Rooms are a bit outdated but sufficient, our air conditioning unit was broken and they failed to fix it. Furthermore, water, cold or hot, is not available in the mornings. Service was unacceptable, particularly for the reception employee named Marta. They are rude and are not helpful. Marta hung up on our call on multiple occasions, for instance, when we told her the wi-fi is not working, she just said in an angry tone “well you need to log in sir, thank you, bye bye”. Without elaborating or even trying to help us find a solution. She also misinformed us twice by telling us that a towel is 28 euros, which we only get clarification later from another employee that it is not the case. It is very obvious that she has not received adequate training to do her job, or she just does not suit the hospitality industry. I hope BLUESEA will do...

Nice apartments in general. It could have been cleaned better (dirty towel under the sofa) but in general nice. We made the mistake of leaving some drinking glasses that we had used for Malibu and coke on the table and woke up to find a mass of ants on and around them. This was easily cleaned and sorted and made us realise we had to put everything away including the sugar. Not a major problem but would have been nicer without the risk of ants. The food was great. A variety of food every night and morning. The entertainment was good. The area around the hotel was great with lots of things to do, places to eat drink etc. There is a beach 5 min walk away. The best beach was A €10 taxi trip away to cala mondrago. Would go to same location but probably try a different...
