misfortune of choosing here for a meal for 2 adults and 2 children last night. When we arrived we chose our own table and were left waiting for menus when we did receive them it was another half an hour before our order was taken despite the restaurant not being full. Drinks were another ten minutes wait. We ordered poppadoms, starters and mains. After another half an hour wait we were served every single dish at once including the poppadoms. When I complained I was told I should have specified to my waitress that I wanted my starters served first never in all the places I have eaten have I been told this before. The poppadoms were stale.The rice and chips were already cold when they were put on the table and by the time we ate our starters the mains were cold also.The serving staff completely avoided our table after I complained. It was the most overpriced meal of our holiday so far with the absolute worst service and dining experience I have ever received. When the bill came the starters were called exactly that on the receipt yet I should have specified this...no apology given. My family wouldn't eat here again if we were offered...

Do not eat here. Go to one of the many other restaurants in the area that are miles better than here.

There are so many reviews praising this place that my family and I all went for a meal. I went in expecting the 4/5 * experience it's touted as having, but i had nothing close to this.

It took them about 10 minutes to ask us what we wanted to drink and didn't even ask for our food order until much later. We even had to order drinks twice because our first order went un served, and when we did get them, they gave us bottles with the caps still on... even the little things they couldn't get right.

It took approximately 1hr 45 to get our food on a Wednesday night that wasn't particularly busy.

To be fair to them, the food tasted well enough, nothing special, but certainly not bad. However, for 4 days after eating here, I have had a very upset stomach. I had the mixed grill, and it's clear the meat was not properly prepared or stored beforehand as it's given me a bad bug.

Stay well clear, and go to the steakhouse across from Yates or Nevada next to that. They are much better and only...

Delicious food, I got a chicken biryani, my partner got vegan aloo gobi - they also advised that all of the curries could be made vegan on request. The staff will ask you what spice level you like - I asked for the hottest and it was authentically hot! My partner got medium spice and it was still quite hot, so aim low if you're unsure.

Food came quickly and piping hot, and the portion size was huge.

We also got a side of chips which were better than expected, as they had a delicious herby seasoning.

Staff were friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. We asked for many drinks and they were quick to serve them.

Taking one star from the atmosphere mark, as there was an obnoxious karaoke dj in the adjacent restaurant on the street, who needed to turn his volume down and kept swearing in a thick...
