I came here with my family, and I had quite high expectations due to the reviews of this place. When the waiter came over he asked if we spoke English or Dutch. When we told him we speak English, but that we’re actually Norwegian he said in Norwegian “I don’t speak Norwegian”. We of course really appreciated this. A different staff member brought us our drinks and took our food order. She told us that there might be a bit of a wait due to it being busy. We had been warned, so we can’t really complain about the food taking an hour to come. However, we were starving - and I’m 8 months pregnant and the baby was desperate for food - so my partner asked (in a very friendly, non accusatory tone by the way) if the waitress had any idea how long the wait was going to be. She answered by saying “I don’t know. I’ll check” and as she walked off she muttered under her breath “I’m not standing in the kitchen am I”. I really think she let herself down by making that comment. It frankly pissed me off. But I’m on holiday so won’t stay angry for long. I ordered wings and ribs. The wings were nice, but I couldn’t eat the ribs. They were so fatty and gristly. None of my family members were able to eat them either. My partner had the fillet steak and said it was alright. A bit chewy. My brother had the chicken kebab and the nachos and was very pleased. My sisters had the fajitas and said they were brilliant. PONY!!!!! Payed a visit last night as was recommended and fancied a change and a nice steak! Read a few reviews and seemed to look okay, though alot of the reviews we're very dated, ie 6years ago some of them, good location so easy to see how people actrated, menu board outside advertised rib eye chips and salad as a special 15 euros so happy days, sat down waiter was OK took drinks order not overly enthusiastic, ordered the rib eye and partner the wings and ribs, the restuant may have looked good six years ago but under a bit of scrunity you could see it hadn't been touched since then, rusty speakers hanging of the walls, most of the wood cladding rotten at the bottom, simple things to maintain staring now to wonder what was comming up!! Food arrived presented OK but that was it, steak as tough as old Harry!! Ribs straight out of Morrisons or lidils, probably doing the later a disservice to be fair!! Wings seemed cooked earlier then bung in the fryer for couple of minutes,, no bread or conduments on offer extra for mayo, ketchup etc.... Really!! Owner's didn't once engage with anybody never asked if everything OK, I'm not posh or even to fussy, but save yourself 60eurosand try somewhere else seems now don't really care to much just milking another season other diners faces and reactions summed...
