The best summary of our stay at the Peregrino Exe Hotel would be the kindness of the staff and their superb skills in providing a delicious buffet breakfast. The rest of the hotel adhered to the standards one might expect of an establishment in its category. The rooms were spacious, offering a sense of calm and comfort, while the bathroom gleamed with a spotless finish. The swimming pool beckoned with its inviting waters, not so the chill weather outside. Though a flat-screen TV adorned the room, it remained untouched, as the Santiago's surroundings rendered such distractions unnecessary. Located at a convenient distance from the bustling heart of Santiago's old quarters, the hotel provided a quiet and suitable setting for business. Our stay, primarily for business purposes, was enhanced by this peaceful environment, a mere 20-minute walk from the lively chatter and crowds that characterised the historic centre. The cost of our single night's stay, approximately 150€ including breakfast and car park, struck us as fair. However, one aspect did fall short of expectations – the bed. The mattress, particularly on my side of the double bed, failed to provide the comfort one hopes for. My wife, fortunate to have the more comfortable side, slept well, but I found my rest less satisfactory. As a war veteran who has endured rough sleeping conditions during my commando days, this was more of a minor inconvenience than a serious complaint. Nevertheless, an upgrade to the mattress in room 618 would be advisable. In conclusion, the Peregrino Exe Hotel offers a commendable experience marked by exceptional service and a serene atmosphere. While there are minor improvements to be made, the overall stay was pleasant and met most of our needs. Cheers.

We arrived tired from a 9 hour drive. We were met with a staff that far exceed what we expected. The you lady and man that checked us in and their English blew us away. I do speak spanish,Spanish, but not understand fully and the young lady took control and handle everything to the most finite detail. We will be visiting again and make recommendations all our friends who come. Thank you for making this a GREAT and WONDERFUL vacation.

I could not be more grateful of this hotel spent 4 nights and enjoyed my stay, is walkable distance to the main city center. Breakfast is good. Dinner also good. Front desk associates are really helpful. Our room had an awesome overview of the city and university campus

I will have to say that this was not at all to my expectations. The staff is not at all friendly as a matter of fact they are rude and do not care. Upon our arrival there was water in the lobby and a member of our group fell and she was told by staff it was from her own urine!! (this was the rudest thing ever as it was so untrue and uncalled for!) ) First of all we were traveling with a large group and on a bus. There is no parking for the buses as their parking is VERY small and limited only has ONE entrance and exit. Then there was no porter service (they wanted to charge extra to call someone in to help with the luggage) and the elevators were the slowest I have ever seen. Their so called buffet was horrible very poor choices and not even enough to call buffet. When housekeeping came to clean the room they did not replace the towels for clean ones. I had used my towel to clean the water on the floor after my shower and they just simply folded the towel from the floor and put back on the rack (gross!). They did the same to all the persons traveling in the group. Upon check-out we needed to load the luggage onto the bus and as I mentioned previously it was very inconvenient as people needed to exit the parking and there was on one way in or out so the bus had to move several times and the staff did nothing to help. It was a terrible experience for everyone in the group. Never again !!! Worse staff ever especially the lady in the front desk some old lady with blonde hair!! Muy mal experiencia en este hotel. Personas mus descortez trabajan alli! No se lo recomiendo a...

I loved the hotel. We booked a double room for one night and enough to say I would come back again. Super clean, newly renovated, excellent location. The bathroom had two sinks which we found super handy however the only tiny fault I would say is the shower. It was an open shower with a big glass as a shower screen and the level of the shower was slightly higher than the floor so water can still spill onto the floor. I did have to be careful to not shower facing the faucet as water would be spraying literally everywhere. BUT apart of that small incident , the pressure of the water was amazing and probably the best shower I’ve had and needed after a long cold night. I mentioned the above only as comment as to what I thought and perhaps a consideration of change in the future - just so the water doesn’t damage or cause mould/dampnessin...
